Abstract

본 발명은 액정 디스플레이 (LCD : liquid crystal display)의 손상방지에 관한 것으로서, 특히 액정 디스플레이 TV에 있어서 백라이트(back light) 램프의 열에 의한 액정 디스플레이 판넬의 열손상 방지에 관한 것이다. 액정 디스플레이 장치의 액정 디스플레이 판넬에 대한 열손상 방지 장치에 있어서, 백라이트 램프; 상기 백라이트 램프에서 나오는 빛을 반사하는 반사판; 상기 반사판에서 반사된 빛에서 가시광선만을 통과시키는 필터부; 상기 필터부에서 통과한 가시광선을 균일하게 반사시키는 도광판; 및 상기 도광판에서 균일하게 반사된 광선을 유입하여 화면을 구성하는 액정 디스플레이 판넬을 포함함을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 액정 디스플레이 판넬의 열손상 방지장치는 광원으로 사용하는 백라이트 램프의 열선을 차단함으로써 액정 디스플레이 판넬이 열에 의해 손상되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
또한, 백라이트 램프에 포함된 자외선을 차단함으로써 액정 디스플레이 판넬에서 자외선의 방사가 사전에 차단되어 시청자의 시력보호에 도움을 준다.

Claims (2)

  1. 액정 디스플레이 장치의 액정 디스플레이 판넬에 대한 열손상 방지 장치에 있어서, 백라이트 램프; 상기 백라이트 램프에서 나오는 빛을 반사하는 반사판; 상기 반사판에서 반사된 빛에서 가시광선만을 통과시키는 필터부; 상기 필터부에서 통과한 가시광선을 균일하게 반사시키는 도광판; 및 상기 도광판에서 균일하게 반사된 광선을 유입하여 화면을 구성하는 액정 디스플레이 판넬을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 판넬의 열손상 방지 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 필터부는 적외선을 차단하는 적외선차단 필터부와 자외선을 차단하는 자외선차단 필터부를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정 디스플레이 판넬의 열손상 방지 장치.
