Description

본 발명은 특성신호가 방송 프로그램을 특성화하기 위하여 이용되는 통신시스템에서 수신측 장치의 작동을 송신측에서 제어 하기 위한 장치에 관한 것이다. 예를들면, 이런 회로는 해당하는 특성신호에 의해 특성화된 TV 프로그램과 같이 방송 프로그램을 정확하계 기록하기 위해 사용된다. 특성신호는 음성신호 밋/또는 화상신호와 함께 부가되는 소위 부반송파, 화상신호에 있는 데이타 라인 또는 그와 같은 것을 통해 전송된다.
유럽 특허 공개 제1118104호에는 전술한 방식의 장치가 공지되어 있다. 여기에 공지된, 예전된 작동모드로 특성신호에 의해 스타트되지 않은 수신기측 장치를 작동시키는 것은 타이머에 의해 미리 주어질 수 있는시점에서 전송되는 특성신호 데이타와 원하는 프로그램 데이타와의 비교를 위한 비교작동이 스타트되는 것이다. 비교시 원하는 프로그램에 상응하는 특성신호가 검출되면, 예정된 작동모드 즉 더이상의 비교가 계속되지 않고 종료된다.
본 발명의 목적은, 수신측 장치의 작동이 방송프로그램의 특성신호에 의해 시작되지 않았을 경우에도 이용자가 간단한 방법으로 수신측 장치를 방송 프로그램의 특성신호를 이용하여 적합하게 제어할 수 있는 장치를 제공하는데 있다.
상기 목적은 수신측 장치가 특성신호에 의하지 않고 동작된 후에, 수신측 장치의 작동이 특성신호에 따라 예정된 작동 방식내로 제어되는 회로를 제공함으로써 이루어진다.
본 발명에 따르는 장치는 회로의 활성화 시점에서 정확하게 수신된 방송 프로그램이 지속되는 동안, 수신측 장치가 예정된 작동방식을 정확하계 수행하도록 하는 장점이 있다.
따라서 전기 에너지에 대한 소모를 줄일 수 있고, 특히 기록장치에서 작동부분의 마모를 줄이거나 기록장치, 예를들면 레코드 테이프 또는 비디오 테이프, 비디오 카셋트, 비디오 디스크 또는 그와같은 것들을 좀더 용이하게 이용할 수 있는 장점을 가진다.
본 발명의 또다른 장점, 특징 및 세부사항은 첨부한 도면을 참조로 한 실시예에 대한 하기 설명에 나타나며, 여기서는 본 발명에 따른 회로를 롱해 비디오레코더의 작동이 송신측에서 제어되는 것을 제시하고 있다.
도면에 도시된 비디오 레코더(VCR)(9)는 기록작동을 위한 키이(10)("기록키이'') 및 소위 "빠른 스타아트''를 위한 키이(12)를 가지고 있는 제어판넬(도시안됨)을 포함한다. 기록키이(10)가 눌러지면 비디오 레코더(9)는 다른 선택이 발생할 때까지 지속적으로 기록모드로 설정되며, 한편 빠른 스타아트 키이가 눌러지면비디오 레코더(9)는 예를들어 30분 간격으로 설정될 수 있는 어느 주기동안 기록모드로 설정된다.
기록키이(10) 또는 빠른 스타아트 키이(12)를 작동시키면 접점(1 및 2)이 동시에 접속되며, 이로 인해 양의 전압(+)이 콘덴서와 접지저항으로 구성된 미분회로(3)에 인가된다. 다음에 미분회로(3)에서 발생된 임펄스는 주사선 선택기(5)의 입력에 존재하는 비디오 신호를 위한 게이트(4)를 잠시동안 연다. 주사선 선택기(5)는 특정 방송, 또는 TV 프로그램을 특성화하는 신호를 포함하는, 소위 데이타 라인을 선택한다. 이데이타 라인에는 방송 프로그램을 특성파 하는 특성신호가 전송된다. 유럽에서 비디오 신호의 제16번째 주사선은 데이타 라인으로 선택되며, 특정 방송을 특성화하는 특성신호는 비디오 프로그램 시스템(Video Program System) 또는 VPS 신호라고 불리운다.
이 특성신호에 포함된 데이타는 기억장치(6)에 저장된다. 이때 특성신호에 포함된 모든 데이타가 필수적으로 기억장치에 기록될 필요는 없다. 예를들면 비디오 레코더(9)의 기록모드중에 채널 변경이 발생하지 않는다면, 수신되는 방송국 또는 거기에 속하는 방송 본국을 특성화하는 데이타는 고려되지 않을 수도 있다.
해당하는 방송 프로그램의 전체 지속시간 동안에는 방송 프로그램을 특성화하는 특성신호가 변하지 않는다. 특성신호에 포함된 데이타(또는 상기 의미에서, 필요하다고 생각되는 특성신호에 포함된 데이타)가 비교기(7)의 입력(A)에 공급된다. 비교기(7)의 다른 입력(B)에는 기억장치(6)에서 나온 데이타가 인가된다.
두개의 입력(A 및 B)에 인가된 정보가 동일하거나, 상기 의미에서 이 경우에 해당하는 중요한 데이타가 동일하면, 비교기(7)는 비디오 레코더(9)를 기록모드로 유지한다. 스위칭단(8)이 이용될 수 있는데 이 스위칭단은 비디오 레코드를 기록 구동시킨다. 또한 예를들어 스위칭단(8)이 도면에는 도시되지 않은 방식으로 먼저 활성화 되었을 경우, 스위칭단(8)은 전압 공급장치에 연결된다.
예를들면 방송이 끝나거나 차단되거나 송신기가 교란되어져서 특성신호가 변환되거나, 관련 데이타가 변화하면, 곧 비교단(7)의 입력(A와 B)에 인가된 데이타의 비교가 음의 상태로 된다.
따라서 비교기(7)는 원하는 방식으로 스위칭단(8)에 의하여 기록 구동 뿐만 아니라, 경우에 따라서는 비디오 레코더 전체를 차단시킨다.
상기 실시예의 여러가지 변형 및 변경이 가능하다. 예를들어, VCR(9)이 작동될 때까지 방송 프로그램을 특성화하는 데이타는 메모리의 나머지 부분에 기록되어 있는 최종 데이타와 함께 메모리(6)에 연속적으로 새롭게 기록될 수 있다. 그리고 미리 설정된 시간주기보다 긴 주기동안 메모리(6)에 저장된 데이타가 특성신호의 대응 데이타와 일치하지 않을 때 VCR(9)의 작동은 정지될 수 있다. 그리고 만약 간섭이라고 식별된 미리 설정된 특성신호가 통신 시스템의 전송측으로부터 전송되면 VCR(9)의 작동은 중단되며, 한편 메모리(6)에 저장된 데이타가 방송 프로그램을 특성화하는 특성신호의 대응신호와 다시 일치하면 기록모드에서VCR(9)의 작동은 다시 시작된다. 또한 본 발명은 오디어 레코더에 적용될 수 있으며, 라디오 또는 텔레비젼과 같은 방송 수신기의 동작모드를 제어하기 위하여 이용될 수 있다.

Claims (9)

  1. 특성신호가 방송프로그램을 특성화하기 위하여 이용되는 통신 시스템에서, 방송프로그램의 전제 지속시간동안 전송된 상기 방송프로그램을 특성화하는 특성신호에 의하여 수신측 장치의 작동을 송신측에서 제어하기 위한 수신측 회로에 있어서, 방송프로그램의 시작 또는 도중에 특성 신호에 의하지 않고 회로가 활성화될 경우에도, 수신측 장치의 작동을 특성신호에 의하여 예정된 작동방식대로 제어하는 수단이 수신측에제공되며, 상기 수단은 : a) 희로가 활성화될 때 특성신호에 포함되며 방송프로그램을 특성화하는 데이터가자동으로 기억되는 기억장치(6) ; 및 b) 회로가 작동될 때 기억장치와 특성신호의 상응하는 네이터를 비교하여 기억된 데이터와 특성신호의 상응하는 데이터가 일치하는 전체 지속시간 동안 장치를 계속 작동상태로 유지시키는 비교기(7)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 방송프로그램을 특성화하는 데이터는 회로가 동작될 때 새로이 기억장치(6) 안으로 독입되고, 최후에 독입된 데이터가 기억장치에 남아있는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  3. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 기억된 데이터와 특성신호의 상응하는 데이터가 일치하는 동안에만 수신측의 장치를 계속 작동상태로 유지시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  4. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 기억된 데이터가 예정된 시간 주기를 지나서 특성 신호의 상응하는 데이터와 더이상 일치하지 않으면, 수신측의 장치의 작동을 중지시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  5. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 송신측에서 간섭이라고 식별된 예정된 코드신호가 전송되면 수신측 장치의 작동이 차단되며 그 후에 기억된 데이타와 방송프로그램을 특성화하는 특성신호의 상응하는 데이터가 새로이 일치할 때 수신측의 장치가 동일한 방식으로 새로이 작동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  6. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 스위치(접점 1 또는 2)가 제공되며 상기 스위치가 작동할 때 회로를 동작시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  7. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 수신측 장치는 기록장치, 특히 오디오 레코더 또는 비디오 레코더(VCR)이고 예정된 작동방식은 기록작동인 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 기록작동을 빨리 스타트시키기 위한 스위치가 마련되어 있고(빠른 스타트 스위치),상기 스위치가 작동하는 것과 동시에 회로가 동작되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
  9. 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 수신측 장치는 방송수신장치, 특히 라디오 또는 TV 수신장치이고 예정된 작동방식은 장치의 재생작동인 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
