Description

고체 표면의 세정 및/또는 건조용 1,1-디클로로-1-플루오로에탄, 1,1,1,3,3-펜타플루오로부탄 및 메탄올 기재 조성물
본 발명은 플루오르화 및 클로로플루오르화 탄화수소 분야에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는, 고체 표면의 건조, 세정, 탈지 및 드라이클리닝, 특히 인쇄 회로의 탈융제 및 콜드클리닝 용도에 사용될 수 있으며 공비혼합물을 나타내는 신규 조성물에 관한 것이다.
1,1,2-트리클로로-1,2,2-트리플루오로에탄(상품명 F113로 공지됨)은 고체 표면의 세정 및 탈지용으로 산업상 널리 이용된다. 또한, 전자계에서 인쇄 회로에 접착하는 피클링 융제를 제거하기 위한 땜납 융제 세정에 대한 용도 외에 중금속 성분의 탈지 및 자이로스코프 및 군사용 또는 항공우주용 하드웨어 같은 고품질 및 고정밀 기계 성분의 세정에도 사용가능하다. 그 다양한 용도에 있어서, F113은 기타 유기용매(예.메탄올)와의 조합으로, 바람직하게는 환류하에 사용시 기체상에서 액체상에서와 실질상 동일한 조성을 가지며 분리되지 않는 공비 또는 의사공비 혼합물의 형태로 사용되는 경우가 많다.
그러나, F113은 현재 성층권 오존을 공격 또는 파괴하는 것으로 생각되는 완전 할로겐화 클로로플루오로카본의 일부를 형성한다.
이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해, 본 발명에서는 F113-기재 조성물 대신 1,1,1,3,3-펜타플루올부탄, 메탄올 및 1,1-디클로로-1-플루오로에탄기재 신규 조성물을 사용한다. 이 신규 화합물(상품명 F141b로 공지됨)은 오존에 대한 파괴 효과가 실질상 없다. 이것은 상품명 F365mfc로 공지된 1,1,1,3,3-펜타플루오로부탄에도 적용된다.
본 발명에 따라 사용되는 조성물은 60~90중량%의 F141b, 9~33중량%의 F365mfc 및 1~7중량%의 메탄올을 함유한다. 이 범위에서는 상압(1.013바)하에 비점이 29.1℃인 공비 혼합물이 존재하며, 본 발명에 따른 조성물은 의사공비성을 가지는데, 즉 기체 및 액체 상의 조성물은 실질싱 동일하여 목적 용도에 특히 유리하다. F141b함량은 75~82중량%, F365mfc함량은 15~21중량% 및 메탄올 함량은 3~4중량%의 범위에서 선택되는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명에 따른 조성물은 또한 측정 표준조건(ASTM표준 D3828)하에 인화점을 나타내지 않아 비가연성이므로 유리하다.
F141b/F365mfc/메탄올 공비 혼합물은 그 비점이 각 성분의 비점(F141b : 32℃ ; F365mfc ; 40℃ ; 메탄올 : 65℃)보다 낮기 때문에 포지티브 공비 혼합물이다.
F113기재 공지 조성물에서와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 조성물은 통상의 안정제(예. 니트로알칸)를 F141b＋F36mfc＋메탄올의 총중량에 대해 0.01~5%의 비율로 첨가함으로써 세정공정에 일어나기 쉬운 가수분해 및/또는 라디칼 공격에 대해 안정화될 수 있어 바람직하다.
본 발명에 따른 조성물은 종래 F113기재 조성물에서와 동일한 기술을 사용하여 동일 용도에 이용될 수 있다.
하기 실시예는 본 발명을 설명하는 것이며 한정하려는 것은 아니다.
[실시예 1]
[공비 화합물의 확인]
F365mfc 100g, 메탄올 100g 및 F141b 100g을 증류 컬럼(30플레이트)보일러에 도입한다. 이어서, 혼합물을 1시간 전환류하에 넣어 계가 평형이되게 한다. 분회(약 50g)을 플래토 온도(29.1℃)에서 수거하여 기체상 크로마토그래피로 분석한다.
하기 표에 결과에서 F141b/F365mfc/메탄올 공비 혼합물의 존재를 알 수 있다.
[실시예 2]
[공비 조성물의 확인]
F141b 79.5중량%, F365mfc 17.1중량% 및 메탄올 3.4중량%를 함유하는 혼합물 200g을 단열 증류 컬럼(30플레이트) 보일러에 도입한다. 이어서, 혼합물을 1시간 가열 환류하여 계가 평형이되게 하고, 약 50g의 분획을 수거하여 증류 경사분석과 함께 기체상 크로마토그래피 분석한다. 그 비점은 각 순수성분(F141b, F365mfc, 메탄올)의 비점보다 낮기 때문에 하기 표에 나타낸 결과에서 포지티브 공비 혼합물의 존재를 알수 있다.
이 공비혼합물은 땜납 융제 세정 또는 기계 성분 탈지용으로 사용되며 양호한 결과를 제공한다.
[실시예 3]
[니트로메탄-안정화 조성물]
F141b 79.4중량%, F365mfc 17.1중량%, 메탄올 3.4중량% 및 니트로메탄(안정제) 0.1중량%를 함유하는 혼합물 150g을 고주파음분해 세정용 탱크에 도입한다. 계를 환류하에 1시간 장치한후, 기체상의 부분표본을 회수한다. 그 기체상 크로마토그래피 분석을 수행하면 니트로메탄존재를 나타내는데, 이것은 혼합물이 기체상에서 안정화되어 있음을 시사한다.
[실시예 4]
[땜납 융제 세정]
F141b/F365mfc/메탄올 공비 조성물 200g을 안마스(Annemasse) 고주파음분해용 탱크에 도입한 후, 혼합물을 비점으로 가열한다.
땜납 융제로 피복되고 220℃에서 30초간 오븐에서 후처리된 규격 회로(모델 IPC-B-25)를 고주파음하에 비등 액체에서 3분간 침지시킨후 기체상에서 3분간 헹군다.
공기 건조후 저각도 조명하에 육안으로 관찰하면 땜납 융제 잔류물이 전혀없음을 알 수 있다. F113-메탄올 조성물(93.7%-6.3%)과도 이와 동일한 결과가 수득되었다.

Claims (9)

1,1-디클로로-1-플루오로에탄 60~90중량%, 1,1,1,3,3-펜타플루오로부탄 9~33중량% 및 메탄올 1~7중량%을 함유하는 조성물.
제1항에 있어서, 1,1-디클로로-1-플루오로에탄 75~82중량%, 1,1,1,3,3-펜타플루오로부탄 15~21중량% 및 메탄올 3~4중량%를 함유하는 조성물.
제2항에 있어서, 상압하에 비점이 29.1℃인 공비 혼합물 형태인 조성물.
제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 1종의 안정제를 더 함유하는 조성물.
제4항에 있어서, 안정제가 니트로알칸인 조성물.
제4항에 있어서, 안정제의 비율이 1,1,-디클로로-1-플루오로에탄＋1,1,13,3-펜타플루오로부탄＋메탄올의 혼합물의 총중량에 대해 0.01~5%인 조성물.
제4항에 있어서, 안정제가 니트로알칸이며 그 비율이 1,1-디클로로-1-플루오로에탄＋1,1,1,3,3-펜타플루오로부탄＋메탄올의 혼합물의 총중량에 대해 0.01~5%인 조성물.
제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항에 따른 조성물이 고체 표면의 세정 및/또는 건조용으로서의 용도.
제8항에 있어서, 인쇄회로의 탈융제용 및 기계 성분의 탈지용으로서의 용도.
