Abstract

중합체의 점도, 수지 표면에 적용될 때 중력-유발 슬럼핑에 대한 저항성, 및 혼합물 안정성을 증가시키고, 매트릭스 보강 및 인성을 제공하기 위해, 작은 직경, 20-50의 최소 가로세로비를 갖고, 약 10% 이상의 권축을 갖는 권축된 아크릴 섬유는 접착제, 시일런트, 코우팅, 페인트, 그라우트, 구조물질 등 내에 개선된 물리적 틱소트로프로서 작용하도록 변형된다.

Claims (15)

  1. 3% 이상의 권축을 갖고 접착제, 시일런트, 코우팅, 구조물질 등에 물리적 틱소트로프(thixotrope)로 작용하도록 변형되는, 작은 직경 0.5-3mm의 최소 길이, 20-50의 최소 가로세로비(L/D)를 갖는 권축된 아크릴 섬유.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 35중량% 이상의 양으로 아크릴로니트릴을 함유하는 중합체로 구성되는 권축된 아크릴 섬유.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 약 2-15㎛의 평균 직경을 갖고 5% 이상의 권축을 갖는 권축된 아크릴 섬유.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 약 100,000 이상의 고분자량(Mk)를 갖는 권축된 아크릴 섬유.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 예비-산화되고 열적으로 안정한 권축된 아크릴 섬유.
  6. 섬유가 100마이크론 이하의 섬유 직경, 0.5mm 이상의 섬유길이, 20-50의 최소 가로세로비를 갖고 약 5% 이상 권축된, 아크릴로 니트릴을 35중량% 이상의 양으로 함유하는 중합체의 권축된 일성분 또는 이성분 섬유로부터 생성되는 틱소트로픽제로서, (i) 매트릭스 중합체에 개선된 점도를 제공하고, (ii) 상기 중합체, 및 해당하는 권축되지 않고 텍스처라이징되지 않은 섬유로 구성되는 틱소트로픽제로 구성되는 복합제의 슬럼핑에 대한 저항성보다 큰 슬럼핑 저항성을 갖는 중합체 및 상기 틱소트로픽제의 복합재를 제공하고, (iii) 섬유-매트릭스 분리 또는 탈수(dewetting)에 대해 보다 큰 저항성을 갖는 복합재를 제공하기 위한 틱소트로픽제.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 권축된 아크릴 섬유가 약 100 이상의 가로세로비(L/D)를 갖는 틱소트로픽제.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 권축된 아크릴 섬유가 약 5-15마이크로미터의 평균 직경을 갖고 10% 이상의 권축을 갖는 티소트로픽제.
  9. 하기 (a)-(b)로 구성되는 조성물 : (a) 수지 단독으로, 또는 (i)안료, (ii)염료, (iii)열 안정화제, (iv)항산화, (v)가소제, (vi)윤활제, (vii)UV-안정화제, (viii)난연제, (ix)가공 보조제, (x)발포제, 또는 (xi)임의의 상기한 것들의 혼합물과 더 배합된 수지. (b)작은 직경, 0.5-3mm의 최소 길이, 20-50의 최소 가로세로비(L/D)를 갖고 약 3% 이상의 권축을 갖는 권축된 아크릴 섬유를 포함하는, 효과적 농도의 물리적 틱소트로프.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 수지가 폴리에스테르, 폴리아크릴레이드, 페놀수지, 실리콘, 폴리우레탄, 천연 또는 합성 고무 또는 고무 라텍스, 폴리이미드, 폴리에폭사이드, 폴리설파이드, 또는 임의의 상기한 것들의 배합물로부터 선택되는 경화가능 수지를 포함하는 조성물.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 수지가 경화가능 폴리에폭사이드 또는 경화가능 폴리설파이드를 포함하는 조성물.
  12. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 물리적 틱소트로프의 농도가, 배합된 (a)와 (b)의 100중량부당 약 0.05 내지 약 10.0중량부인 조성물.
  13. 제9항에 있어서, 최소 가로세로비(L/D)가 4.6/(V)½이상이며, 이때 V는 상기 수지 섬유 혼합물의 단위 부피내 섬유의 부피인 조성물.
  14. 제9항에 있어서, 최소 가로세로비(L/D)가 약 100 이상인 조성물.
  15. 제9항에 있어서, (a)와 (b)의 혼합물의 점도(포아즈), Vis(혼합물)가 대략 Vis(수지) [1÷110(L/D)(V)3/2]고 같으며, 이때 V는 상기 수지 섬유 혼합물의 단위 부피내 섬유의 부피이고, (L/D)는 가로세로비이고, Vis(수지)는 수지의 점도(포아즈)인 조성물.
