Abstract
지역네트워크와 같은 데이타 통신 시스템은 등시성 데이타를 전송하는 능력이 제공된다. 바람직하기로는 시스템은 4-비트 니블 기준으로 순환하는 프레임 구조로 데이타를 시-다중화함으로써 등시성 데이타 및 비-등시성 데이타 양자를 전달한다.
특정 등시성 소스/싱크에 이용가능한 대역폭은 소정 입자성으로 선택가능하고 지탱가능하다. 데이타율들은 약간의 프레임들속에 데이타를 다른 프레임들속에 "무 데이타"를 송신할 수 있는 "율 조정"시간폭들을 사용함으로써 조정될 수 있다. 등시성 데이카, 비-등시성 데이타, D 채널 데이타, 유지 데이타 및 프레임 동기 신호들을 소용하는, 특정 시간 프레임 또는 템플레이트가 제공된다. 비-등시성 동작 및 대역폭 할당은 등시성 데이타 활성에 대하여 독립적으로 명백하다. 프레임 타이밍은 예를 들면, 공중전화 또는 광역네트워크로부터의 하나 이상의 기준클록신호들과 일치될 수 있다. 버퍼는 소스/싱크 또는 허브 회로 데이타율들과, 주어진 데이타의 형을 위하여, 소 시간 스케일상에서 불연속인 물리적 매체를 통한 송신을 위한 데이타율을 사이에서 변환할 수 있다.

Claims (1)
- 지역 네트워크에 있어서, 적어도 제1등시성 데이타 스트림 및 제2데이타 스트림을 포함하는 복수의 입력들을 수신하기 위한 수단과; 시간 프레임의 반복하는 패턴으로 상기 복수의 입력들로부터의 정보를 시-다중화하기 위한 수단으로서, 각 시간 프레임은 복수의 시간폭들을 가지며, 각 시간 프레임은 사실상 동일한 지속시간을 가지고, 상기 복수의 시간 프레임들 사이에 사실상 멈춤없이, 그리고 각 시간 폭은 소정 수의 데이타 비트들을 송신하기 위하여 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수단을 포함하며, 각 시간 프레임의 상기 시간폭들의 제1의 소정된 것들은 상기 제1등시성 데이타 스트림으로부터의 데이타 비트들을 송신하기 위하여 사용되고, 각 시간 프레임의 상기 시간폭들의 제2의 소정된 것들은 데이타의 상기 제2스트림으로 부터의 데이타 비트들을 송신하기 위하여 사용되고; 데이타의 상기 제2스트림은 비-등시성-소스된 데이타 스트림, 데이타-루팅 정보 및 유지 정보중의 하나인; 것을 특징으로 하는 물리적 매체상으로 정보를 송신하기 위한 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
