Abstract
드릴 비트는 장홈이 형성된 작업 단부와, 이 장홈 안에 위치하고 통상 경납땜에 의해 작업 단부에 접착된 언백트 다이아몬드 삽입체를 포함한다. 다이아몬드 삽입체에는 비트용의 절삭날 또는 검이 존재한다. 다이아몬드 삽입제는 CVD 다이아온드나 다이아몬드 압분체로 만들어진다.

Claims (12)
- 드릴 비트에 있어서, 장홈이 형성된 작업단부와, 이 장홈 안에 위치하고 작업 단부에 접착되며 비트용 절삭날 또는 점을 형성하는 언백트 다이아몬드 삽입체(unbacked diamond insert)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 다이아몬드 삽입체가 다이아몬드 층으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제2항에 있어서, 드릴 비트가 5mm미만의 직경을 갖고, 다이아몬드 층의 두께가 150내지 500㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제2항에 있어서, 드릴 비트의 직경이 12mm 이하이고, 다이아몬드 층의 두께가 1.5mm 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 상기 항들 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 다이아몬드가 CVD 다이아몬드와 다이아몬드 압분체로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 상기 항들 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 다이아몬드 삽입체가 ∧형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 삽입체가 직선 기부와, 이 기부로부터 연장된 직선 측면과, 측면들을 연결하고 지붕 형상의 상부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 상기 항들 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 다이아몬드 삽입체가 경납땜 합금을 사용하여 드릴 비트의 작업단부에 경납땜되는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제8항에 있어서, 경납땜 합금이 은/구리 기본 합금이고 소량의 활성 금속을 함유한 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제9항에 있어서, 경납땜 합금이 20내지 40질량%의 구리, 60내지 80질량%의 은, 그리고 소량의 활성 금속을 갖는 합금인 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제9항 또는 제10항에 있어서, 활성 금속이 10질량% 미만의 양으로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 비트.
- 제9항 내지 제11항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 활성 금속이 티타늄 및 지르코늄인 것을 특징으로하는 드릴 비트.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
