Abstract

본 발명은 주 행정 전산망 시스템에서, 캐시 응집을 위해 캐시에 해당 영역 존재시 메모리 공유일때 무효화 신호를 이용하여 버스 동작 주기를 줄여 주행정 전산망 시스템의 성능향상을 도모코자 하는 버스동작 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은 캐시 응집을 유지하기 위해 시스템 버스에 무효화 신호를 실어 무효화 주기를 수행함으로써 버스동작 주기를 주 행정 전산망 시스템의 성능향상을 도모코자 한 것이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 주 행정 전산망 시스템(TICOM)에서 다수개의 프로세스와 공유 메인 메모리를 버스를 이용하여 연결함에 있어서, 프로세서가 데이타 기록 동작 요구상태에서 캐시에 해당 영역이 존재하고 캐시 영역이 공유일때 무효화 주기를 수행하여 캐시 콘트롤러(CC)에서 무효화 신호(INV)를 시스템 버스(System BUS)에 실어 스누프 콘트롤러(SC)로부터의 어드레스(A31……ø)와 이전형태(Transfer Type(TT3……ø) 신호 및 상기 무효화 신호(INV)를 인식한 후 캐시에 데이타를 기록하고 더티세트 후 종료하는 단계를 수행토록 함을 특징으로 하는 주 행정 전산망 시스템(TICOM)의 캐시 응집을 위한 버스동작 제어방법.
