Abstract
본 발명은 AgCl, AgBr, Agl 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 신장은 은할로겐화물 결정들을 함유하고 방사 스펙트럼의 가시 영역에서 방사를 편광시킬 수 있으며, 방사 스펙트럼의 자외선 및/또는 가시영역에서 방사에 노출될 경우 포토크로믹 특성을 보이지 아니하며, 실질적으로 구리를 함유하지 아니하고 산화 상태로 유리조성물내에서 은을 보유하는데 적절한 양의 CeO2,를 함유하는 편광유리에 관한 것이다.

Claims (5)
- AgCl, AgBr, AgI 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 신장된 은할로겐화물 결정들을 함유하고, 방사 스펙트럼의 가시영역에서 방사를 편광시킬 수 있으며, 방사 스펙트럼의 자외선 및/또는 가시영역에서 방사에 노출될 경우 포토크로믹 특성을 보이지 아니하며, 실질적으로 구리를 함유하지 아니하고, 산화상태로 유리조성물내에서 은을 보유하는데 적절한 양의 CeO2를 함유하는 편광 유리.
- 제1항에 있어서, 0.01∼1.5중량%의 CeO2가 함유된 편광 유리.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유리가 산화물 기준의 중량%로 표시되어 다음의 (a), (b) 및 (c)의 세가지 그룹으로부터 선택된 조성물인 편광 유리;(a) 6∼20% R2O(여기서, R2O는 0∼2.5% Li2O, 0∼9% Na2O, 0∼17% K2O 및 0∼6% Cs2O로 구성된다), 14∼23% B2O3, 5∼25% Al2O3, 0∼25% P2O5, 20∼65% SiO2, 0∼2.5% TiO20∼5% ZrO2, 0.15∼0.35% Ag, 0.1∼0.36% Cl 및 0.1∼0.2% Br로 구성되고, 상기 R2O : B2O3의 몰비가 약 0.55∼0.85이고, Ag : (Cl+Br)의 중량비가 약 0.5∼0.95이거나, 또는(b) 2∼2.5% Li2O, 3∼5% Na2O, 6∼7% K2O, 9∼10% Al2O3, 19∼20.5% B2O3, 0∼0.25% PbO, 0.1∼0.3% Ag, 0.2∼0.5% Cl, 0.05∼0.15% Br 및 55∼60% SiO2, 또는(c)되고, 3.75∼4.5% Li2O, 0∼1% Na2O, 5.5∼7.5% K2O, 7∼8% Al2O3, 18∼22% B2O3, 0∼2% TiO20∼5% ZrO2, 54∼58% SiO2, 0∼0.08% PbO, 0∼0.2% Sb2O3, 0.2∼0.33% Ag, 0.3∼0.5% Cl, 및 0.04∼0.12% Br.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 세개 그룹의 유리조성물의 그 각각에 0.01∼1.5중량%의 CeO2가 함유된 편광 유리.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 CeO2가 0.075∼0.75%의 양만큼 함유된 편광 유리.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
