Abstract

본 발명은 유기용매중의 중합체 결합제의 용액중에서 비등방성 자기재료 및 통상적인 첨가제의 분산액을 제조하고, 분산액을 비자기성 기판에 층으로서 도포시키고, 자기장내에 비등방성 자기재료를 배향시키고, 도포된 자기층을 고화시킴으로써 얻어지는 자기기록매체에 관한 것이며, 자기층은 미립 유기 소수성 지지안료 및 고점성 폴리실록산을 함유한다.

Claims (2)

  1. 유기 용매중의 중합체 결합제의 용액중에서 비등방성 자기재료 및 통상적인 첨가제의 분산액을 제조하고, 비자기성 기판에 층으로서 분산액을 도포시킨 후, 자기장내에 비등방성 자기재료를 배향시키고, 도포된 자기층을 고화시킴으로써 얻어지며, 사용되는 용매에 불용성이고 90이상의 융점을 갖는 미립 유기 소수성 지지안료가 자기재료의 양을 기준으로 0.1 내지 1.5 중량의 10,000 내지 500,000 mPa의 점도를 갖는 고점성 폴리실록산과 조합하여 0.1 내지 8중량의 양으로 자기층에 존재함을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 미립 유기 지지안료가 2,000 내지 10,000의 분자량, 30미만의 구형 입자직경 및 95이상의 융점을 갖는 폴리에틸렌 또는 폴리프로필렌임을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체,
