Abstract
본 발명은 물질의 적절한 선택 및 흡착제의 형태를 통해 후속적으로 도입되는 촉매의 열 용량보다 열 용량이 더 큰 탄화수소 흡착제를 배기 파이프에 실제 배기 가스 촉매로다 선행하여 통과시켜 내연기관의 상온 시동동안 탄화수소 방출을 상당히 감소시키는 것에 관한 것이다.

Claims (8)
- 탄화수소 흡착제의 비열 용량(단위용적당 열 용량으로서 정의됨)이 탄화수소 흡착제의 뒤에 있는 3원 촉매의 비열 용량 보다 큼을 특징으로 하는, 공지된 3원 촉매가 배기 가스 스트림 속에서 촉매 앞에 배열되고, 상온 시동후, 3원 촉매가 이의 충분한 작동온도 및 효율에 도달할 때까지, 배기 가스중에 존재하는 탄화수소를 흡착하고 가열된 추에 탄화수소만을 배기가스로 방출시켜, 탈착된 탄화수소가 비교적 활성을 찾게 된 3원 촉매에 의해 무해한 성분으로 전환될수 있도록 하는 탄화수소 흡착제를 사용하여 상온 시동단계 동안의 탄화수소 억제를 개선시키는 촉매적 자동차 방출물 제어방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 탄화수소 흡착제의 비열 용량과 3원 촉매의 비열 용량간의 비가 1.10 내지 3.0 : 1임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 탄화수소 흡착제와 3원 촉매가 비열 용량의 비가 제2항에서 정의한 바와 같고 탄화수소-흡착 피복물 또는 촉매 활성 피복물이 공지된 방법으로 도포된 벌집형인 단일체 지지체임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 탄화수소 흡착제가. Al에 대한 Si의 비가 50이상, 바람직하게는 100이상이고 벌집형 용적 1ℓ당 100 내지 400g의 양으로 도포된 온도-안정성 탈알루미늄화 Y-제올라이트임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 탄화수소 흡착제의 피복물이 표면적이 큰 담체 산화물의 전형적인 촉매 활성 피복물 추가량을 함유하고 여기에 도포되는 전이계열의 격자-안정화되거나 순수한 알루미늄 산화물, 도핑되거나 순수한 세륨 산화물 및 도핑이되거나 순수한 지르코늄 산화물을 함유하는 플라티늄족 금속으로부터의 촉매 활성 금속 성분을 함유하고, 피복물중의 제올라이트 흡착제와 표면적이 큰 담체 산화물의 중량비가 4 : 1 내지 1 : 2이며 촉매 활성 금속 성분이 담체 산화물에는 미세하게 분포하지만 제올라이트 흡착제에는 분포하지 않음을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 탄화수소 흡착제용 단일체 지지체가 표면적이 큰 담체 산화물의 촉매 활성 피복물을 포함하고 여기에 도포되는 플라티늄족 금속으로부터의 촉매 활성 금속 성분을 포함하고, 제3항에 따른 탄화수소 흡착제의 또 다른 피복물을 두 피복물에 사용되는 지지체 용적 1ℓ당 50 내지 200g의 양으로 촉매 활성 피복물에 도포시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항 내지 제6항중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 탄화수소 흡착제와 3원 촉매의 일체식 지지체가 제2항에 상응하는 상이한 비열 용량을 갖는 코르디에리트 또는 멀라이트의 세라믹 단일체임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항 내지 제6항중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 탄화수소 흡착제의 일체식 지지체가 세라믹 단일체이고, 3원 촉매의 지지체가 가열가능한 금속 단일체이며, 세라믹 단일체와 금속단일체의 비열 용량이 제2항에 상응함을 특징으로 하는 당법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
