Abstract

본 발명은 필름-형성용 유기실란 중합체 및 상기 유기실란 중합체의 실란 작용기와 반응하는 하이드록시 또는 실란 작용성 거대단량체 쇄를 가진, 입체적으로 분산된 거대분자 중합체를 함유하는 코팅 조성물 제공하는 것이다. 상기 코팅 조성물은 통상적인 착색된 하도막위의 투명도막으로서, 또는 적당량의 안료를 혼입하는 경우 하도막 또는 모노코트 또는 프라이머로서 사용할수 있다.
코팅 조성물은 개선된 내화학성을 제공하며 균열을 일으키지 않는다.

Claims (10)

  1. 조성물을 건조 또는 경화시, 분산된 중합체의 하이드록신 또는 실란 작용기와 유기 실란 중합체중의 실란 작용시간의 공유결합이 그렇게 생성된 코팅의 균열 경화를 감소시킬 수 있도록, (a)(ⅰ)아크릴로실란 중합체 중량을 기준으로 실란 작용기를 함유하지 않는 에틸렌형 불포화 단량체 약30 내지 95중량% 및 실란 작용기를 함유하는 에틸렌형 불포화 단량체 약 5내지 70중량%를 포함하고, 약 500 내지 30,000중량 평균 분자량을 가진 필름-형성용 유기실란 중합체 약 20내지 90중량%(결합체 고체의 중량 기준), 및 (b) (ⅰ)약 50,000 내지 500,000의 중량 평균 분자량을 가진 거대분자 중합체를 포함하는 코어, 및 (ⅱ) 하이드록시 또는 길란 작용기를 포함하는 중합성 에틸렌형 불포화 단량체를 5 내지 30 중량%(거대 당량체의 중량 기준), 및 하이드록시 또는 실란 작용기를 함유하지 않는 하나 이상의 기타의 중합성 에틸렌형 불포화 단량체 약 70 내지 95중량%(거대 단량체의 중량 기준)를 포함하며, 상기 거대분자 중합체에 결합되며, 약 1,000 내지 30,000의 중량 평균 분자량을 갖는, 여러개의 거대 단량체 쇄를 포함하는 분산된 중합체 약 10 내지 60 중량% (결합제 고체의 중량 기준), 및 (c) 액상 유기 담체 약 25 내지 50중량%(조성물 중량 기준)를 포함하는, 기재 코팅에 유용한 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 필름-형성용 유기 실란 중합체가 하이드록시 작용기를 또한 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 약 50 내지 200의 하이드록시가 및 약 1,000 내지 200,000이 중량 평균 분자량을 가진 폴리올 중합체를 또한 함유하는 코팅 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 가교결합체를 또한 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기실란 대 분산된 중합체의 비가 범위가 5:1 내지 1:1 범위인 코팅 조성물.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 가교결합체가 알킬화된 멜라민 포름알데하이드인 코팅 조성물.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 아크릴로실란 중합체가, 스티렌, 알킬 아크릴레이트, 알킬 메타크릴레이트, 지환족 아크릴레이트, 지환족 메타크릴레이트, 아릴 아클릴레이트, 아릴 메타크릴레이트 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 에틸렌형 불포화 실란 비함유 단량체 및 알콕시 실란 단량체, 아실옥시 실란 단량체 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군중에서 선택된 에틸렌형 불포화 실란 단량체(이때, 상기 아킬, 지환족기 또는 아릴은탄소수 1 내지12를 갖는다)를 포함하는 코팅 조성물.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, (a) 분산된 중합체의 코어가 스티렌, C1내지 C6의 알킬기를 가진 알킬 메타크릴레이트, 에틸렌형 불포화 모노카복실산의 중합성 단량체를 포함하고, (b) 코어에 결합된 거대단량체가 C1내지 C12의 알킬기를 갖는 중합성 알킬 메타크릴레이트, 알킬 아크릴레이트 단량체 또는 이들의 혼합물, C1내지 C4의 알킬기를 갖는 하이드록시 알킬 아크릴레이트 또는 하이드록시 알킬 메타크릴레이트 또는 이들의 혼합물 및 글리시딜 아크릴레이트 또는 글리시딜 메타크릴레이트를 포함하는 코팅조성물.
  9. (a) 기재에 착색된 하도층을 도포하여 기재위에 하도막을 형성하는 단계, (b) 상기 하도막에 제1항의 조성물층을 도포하여 상기 하도막위에 상도막을 형성하는 단계 및 (c) 하도막과 상도막을 경화시켜 기재위에 하도막과 상도막을 형성시키는 단계를 포함하는 기재의 코팅 방법.
  10. 필름 형성용 중합체 및 안료의 착색된 하도막 및 이 하도막에 연이어 접착된 제1항의 조성물을 포함하는 투명도막으로 코팅된 기재.
