Claims (1)

  1. (a) (i) 약 20 내지 약 95중량부의 물; (ii) 약 5 내지 약 80중량부의 수용성 단량체;이때 (i) +(ii)의 총중량은 100부이며; (m) (i)+(ii)의 총중량을 기준으로 하여, 약 0 내지 약 1.0중량%의 수용성 자유라디칼 개시제; 및 (iv) (i)+(ii)의 총중량을 기준으로 하여, 약 0.5 내지 약 20중량%의 음이온 계면활성제, 비이온성 계면활성제, 및 이것의 혼합물로 구성된 군에서 군중에서 선택된 계면활성제를 포함하는 수용액 페이스(phase)(I), 및 (v) 약 80 내지 약 99.5중량부의 약 1 내지 약 14개의 탄소원자를 가진 비-3차 알콜의 평균 탄소원자수 약 4 내지 약 12개인 아크릴산 에스테르; (vi) 약 0.5 내지 약 20중량부의 상기 아크릴산 에스테르와 공중합할 수 있는 극성 단량체; 여기에서 (v)+(vi)의 총중량은 100부이며; (vii) (v)+(vi)의 총중량을 기준으로 하여 약 0.01 내지 약 0.5중량%의 연쇄 전달제; (viii) (v)+(vi)의 총중량을 기준으로 하여 약 0.5 내지 약 1중량%의 지용성 자유 라디칼 개시제; 및 (ix) (v)+(vi)의 총중량을 기준으로 하여 약 0.05 내지 약 30중량%의 변형제부를 포함하는 혼합물 페이스(II)를 혼합하여 유중수 에멀젼을 형성하는 단계; (b) (x) 약 100중량부의 물; 및 (xi) 약 0.01 내지 약 5중량부의 현탁제를 포함하는 수분 페이스(III), 약 40 내지 약 90중량%와 상기 (a) 단계의 유중수 에멀젼, 약 10 내지 약 60중량% (여기에서, 상기 %는 상기 유중수 에멀젼 및 페이스(III)의 총중량을 기준으로 한 것임)를 혼합하여, 수분 현탁액 중의 유중수 에멀젼을 형성하는 단계; (c) 상기 현탁액을 교반하면서 동시에 약 40℃ 내지 약 60℃로 가열하여 중합체 비드가 형성될 때까지 유중수 에멀젼 중에 상기 단량체를 중합반응시키는 단계; (d) 상기 중합체 비드를 수거하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 페이스(I) 중의 계면활성제 일부 또는 전체가 임의 선택적으로 상기 페이스(II)에 포함될 수 있고; 상기 유중수 에멀젼은 상기 유중수 에멀젼의 총중량을 기준으로 하여 약 1 내지 약 60중량%의 수분상을 포함하는 수용액 페이스(I), 및 약 40 내지 약 99중량%의 오일상을 함유하는 혼합물 페이스(II)를 포함하며; 상기 혼합물 페이스(II) 중의 상기 극성 단량체의 일부 또는 전체는 임의 선택적으로 상기 수분 페이스(III)에 포함될 수 있고; 상기 변형제부의 일부 또는 전체를 임의 선택적으로 페이스(III), 상기 유중수 에멀젼, 상기 수분 현탁액중의 유중수 에멀젼, 상기 발열성 중합 반응 후 중합체 비드의 수성 현탁액 중의 하나 또는 그 이상에 포함시킬 수 있음을 특징으로 하는 0℃ 또는 그 이하의 유리 전이 온도를 가진 압감성 아크릴레이트 공중합체 비드의 서스펜션 중합 방법.
