제3도는 조립된 팽창기의 단면도.

Claims (3)

  1. 차량용 탑승자속박장치의 에어백팽창기에 있어서, 에어백이 전개되는 전면개방부와 그 측벽에 공기의 흡기와 배기의 이중목적을 위한 다수의 통공을 갖는 하우징, 전면개방부의 둘레에서 상기 하우징에 고정되고 상기 측벽의 통공에 중첩되어 이들을 폐쇄하도록 하우징내에 접어 넣어지는 에어백과, 상기 하우징의 전면개방부를 통하여 상기 에어백을 전개시키기 위한 가스발생 수단으로 구성되고, 상기 에어백은 이 에어백의 초기전개시에 상기하우징의 통공을 덮고 있으나, 계속되는 에어백의 전개과정에서 상기 통공을 개방하여 먼저 상기 하우징내로 공기가 흡기되고 이어서 상기 하우징의 내부에서 가스가 외부로 배기될 수 있도록 함을 특징으로 하는 에어백 팽창기.
  2. 청구범위 1항에 있어서, 상기 하우징내에 배치되어 먼저 상기 하우징내로 공기가 흡기되는 것을 방지하고 이어서 상기 통공을 통하여 상기 하우징으로부터 가스가 배기되는 것을 방지하므로서 공기의 흡기와 배기가 차등적으로 이루어지도록 하는 플랩을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 에어백 팽창기.
  3. 청구범위 2항에 있어서, 상기 플랩이 상기 하우징으로 부터 가스의 유동시에 상기 통공을 자동적으로 폐쇄함을 특징으로 하는 에어백 팽창기.
