Abstract

보관, 수송시 및 자동차장비후 있어서 화재를 만난경우, 에어백전개력을 작개할 수 있는 조수석용 에어백장치를 제공한다.
콘테이너(12)내에 에어백(10)이 접어서 삽입되어 있다.
콘테이너(12)내에 흡기공(40)이 설치되고, 이 흡기공(40)을 막기위한 밸브 (42)가 설치되어 있다.
이 밸브(42)는 가스제너레이터(22)의 점화온도보다도 낮은 온도에서 용융하는 재료로 이루어진다.
화재를 만났을 때에 밸브가 용융하여 가스제너레이터로부터의 가스를 콘테이너 밖으로 유출시켜서 에어백의 전개력을 작게하도록 한것이고, 수송내지 보관 때문의 곤포의 내압성이 낮은것으로 만족하고, 곤포코스트의 저감이 도모된다.
또, 수송 내지 보관중에 에어백장치가 화재를 만났을 경우, 에어백 전개시에 리드나 콘테이너의 비산방지를 할 수 있고, 수송이나 보관이 안전성이 극히 높다.
또, 자동차장비후에 있어서 화재를 만나게되어도, 에어백의 전개력이 작으므로 콘테이너에 작용하는 힘을 저감 할 수 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 앞면이 에어백전개용의 개방구로 되어있고, 측면에 공기흡입용의 흡기공(40)이 설치되어있는 콘테이너와, 그 콘테이너 내에 설치되어 있고, 그 측면에 씌어져서 그흡기공(40)을 폐색시킨 상태와, 그 측면에서 떨어져나가서 그 흡기공(40)을 개방시킨상태를 취할 수 있는 시이트형상인 밸브(42)와, 그 콘테이너의 깊숙한곳에 설치된 가스제너레이터(22)와, 이 콘테이너내로 접어서 수납되어 있는 에어백(10)과, 그 콘테이너(12)의 개방구를 씌우는 리드(50)등을 구비하여 이루어진 조수석용 에어백장치에 있어서, 전기한 밸브(42)는 가슨제너레이터의 점화 온도 보다도 낮은온도에서 용융하는 재료로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 조수석용 에어백장치.
