제2도는 위 필터의 확대된 일부 단면도를 나타낸 것이다.

Claims (12)

  1. 배기가스, 특히 내연기관의 배기가스로 부터 배출되는 불순물의 분리를 위한 필터에 있어서, 다수의 압축 모울딩 되고 소결된 내고온 안정성을 가진 필터 플래이트(compression- mouided and sintered filter plates)로 구성되고, 이 필터 플래이트는 분말금속, 금속줄, 금속섬유 또는 이들의 혼합물로 이루어져서 각기 서로의 상부에 위치하거나 서로의 뒤에 위치하고 또한 스패이서(spacer)에 의하여 분리되고 그들 사이에서 다수의 흐름덕트(flowduct)를 형성하며, 이 흐름덕트는 일측면에서 열리고 다른 일측면에서는 닫히도록 하므로써 각기 입구덕트와 출구덕트(outlet duct)를 형성하며, 또한 상기 필터 플래이트의 벽은 필터표면이 되는 입구덕트와 출구덕트 사이에서 놓여지게 되며, 상기 출구덕트(5)속으로는 하나 또는 하나 이상의 삽입재(insert)가 삽입되고, 이 삽입재는 촉매재(catalytic material) 또는 촉매재를 코팅하여 입힌 재료로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터(Afilter)
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 출구덕트(5)에 있는 삽입재는 흐름방향에 평행되게 뻗는 촉매 플래이트(7)로 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)는 출구덕트(5)의 적어도 거의 전장 및 전폭에 걸쳐 뻗도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항에 있어서, 상기 스패이서(spacer)는 리브(rib), 비드(bead)등에 의해 만들어져 필터 플래이트(1)내에 형성되고, 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)는 서로 입접되는 필터 플래이트(1)에서 상호 당접되는 리브, 비드 등의 것(9)사이에 각기 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 필터 플래이트(1)는 파형과 같이 만들어지고, 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)는 각기 상호 서로간의 상부에 직접 놓여지는 필터 플래이트(1)에 의해 형성되는 파형 벼슬부(wave crest)와 파형 홈통부(wave trough)사이에 각각 놓여져 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항에 있어서, 상기 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)는 각기 그 표면상에서 구축되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)는 그 표면에서 각기 돌기부(protrusion)및 또는 오목홈부(10)로 형성되어 주어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  8. 제1항 내지 제9항에 있어서, 필터 플래이트(1)는 매연변환온도(soot conversion temperature)를 낮추기 위하여 효과적인 촉매재료로 입구덕트(4)측상에서 코팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항에 있어서, 상기 필터체의 제조에 있어 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)는 각기 필터 플래이트(1)들 사이에서 삽입되고 필터 플래이트(1)에 연결되므로써 하나의 유닛트를 형성하도록 하는 것을 특징으로하는 필터.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 압축 주조된 필터 플래이트(1)는 이 필터 플래이트들 사이에서 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)가 각각 삽입되고 또한 삽입재 또는 플래이트(7)와 밀접히 연결되어 소결되도록 한것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 압축 주조되고 소결되고 그 사이에서 삽입재 또는 촉매 프래이트(7)가 각각 삽입되는 필터 플래이트(1)는 삽입재 또는 촉매 플래이트(7)와 같이 용접되어 연결되도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
  12. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 삽입재와 촉매 플래이트(7)가 그 사이에서 각기 삽입되는 상기 압축 주조되고 소결된 플래이트(1)는 각기 삽입재와 촉매 플래이트(7)와 더불어 상호 기계적 연결부재(6)에 의하여 상호 연결되도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 필터.
