Claims (10)

  1. 음향판지를 형성하는데 적합한 광물섬유-함유조성물의 수성 슬러리(여기서, 슬러리의 고체 함량은 슬러리 혼합시 결정성 광물섬유를 실질적으로 형성하기에 충분히 높다)를 형성시키고; 슬러리를 혼합하여 고체상에 균일하게 분포되어 광물섬유 결절을 형성시키며; 슬러리를 탈수시켜 습윤 펠트를 형성시키고; 임의로 습윤 펠트를 피복시키며; 습윤 펠트를 건조시키고 ; 건조 펠트의 특정 표면상에 장식무늬를 형성시키는 단계를 특징으로 하여, 광물섬유 음향판지를 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 초기 형성된 슬러리의 고체 함량이 약 5중량%이상, 바람직하게는 약 6중량% 이상이고, 이 고체함량이 광물섬유 약 20 내지 85중량%, 셀룰로오스 섬유 2 내지 15중량%, 및 결합제 5 내지 15중량%를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제1 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 초기 형성된 슬러리의 고체함량이 광물성 양모 약 40 내지 80, 바람직하게는 60 내지 70중량%, 점토 0 내지 30, 바람직하게는 0 내지 5중량%, 퍼얼라이트 0 내지 40중량%, 바람직하게는 20 내지 30중량%, 셀룰로오스 섬유 2 내지 5중량%, 및 전분 5 내지 20중량%, 바람직하게는 7 내지 12중량%을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제1 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 건조 펠트 표면을 마멸(여기서 마멸은 바람직하게 표면에 대해 마멸물질을 추진시키기 위해 원심력을 사용한 윤전 발파기(wheel blaster)에 의해 수행되며, 마멸물질로서 바람직하게는 호도 껍질을 사용한다)시킴으로써, 건조 펠트상에 장식무늬를 형성시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제1 내지 4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 건조 펠트 표면을 기계적으로 천공(punch)시키거나 열구(fissure)시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 음향판지를 형성하는데 적합한 광물섬유-함유조성물의 수성 슬러리(여기서, 슬러리의 고체 함량은 슬러리 혼합시 결정성 광물섬유를 실질적으로 형성하기에 충분히 높다)를 형성시키고; 슬러리를 혼합하여 고체상에 균일하게 분포되어 광물섬유 결절을 형성시키며; 슬러리를 이동 와이어 스크린(sire screen)상에 침착시켜 부분 탈수된 습윤 펠트를 형성시키고; 부분 탈수된 습윤 펠트를 압착시켜 이로 부터 추가로 물을 제거하며 ; 임의로 탈수도중 와이어 스크린과 접촉하지 않은 펠트 표면을 피복시키고; 습윤 펠트를 건조시키며; 탈수하는 동안 와이어 스크린과 접촉한 건조펠트의 표면상에 장식무늬를 형성기키는 단계를 특징으로 하여, 광물섬유 음향판지를 제조하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 초기 형성된 슬러리의 고체 함량이 약 5중량%이상, 바람직하게는 약 6중량% 이상이고, 이 고체함량이 광물섬유 약 20 내지 85중량%, 셀룰로오스 섬유 2 내지 15중량%, 및 결합제 5 내지 15중량%를 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제6 또는 7항중에 있어서, 초기 형성된 슬러리의 고체함량이 광물성 양모 약 40 내지 80, 바람직하게는 60 내지 70중량%, 점토 0 내지 30, 바람직하게는 0 내지 5중량%, 퍼얼라이트 0 내지 40, 바람직하게는 20 내지 30중량%, 셀룰로오스 섬유 2 내지 20, 바람직하게는 3 내지 9중량%, 및 전분 5 내지 20, 바람직하게는 7 내지 12중량%을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제6 내지 8항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 건조 펠트 표면을 마멸(여기서 마멸은 바람직하게 표면에 대해 마멸 물질을 추진시키기 위해 원심력을 사용한 윤전 발파기에 의해 수행되며, 마멸물질로서 바람직하게는 호도껍질을 사용한다)시킴으로써, 건조 펠트상에 장식무늬를 형성시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 장식무늬를 지니며 결절성 광물섬유, 무기충진재, 셀룰로오스 섬유 및 결합제를 함유하고 제1 내지 9항중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법으로 제조된, 광물섬유 음향판지.
