Claims (8)

  1. 다음 일반식(I)의 광학활성 화합물
    상기식에서, R1은 탄소수 3 내지 14의 알킬 그룹 또는 알켄일 그룹이고, R2및 R3는 독립적으로 탄소수 1 내지 3의 저급알킬 그룹이고, R4는 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬그룹이고, Q1,Q2및 Q3는 독립적으로 단일결합, (티오)에 테르 그룹. (티오)카복실산 에스테르 그룹, 카보닐 그룹 또는 카보닐디옥시그룹이고, n은 2내지 6의 정수이고,
    M은
    또는(여기에서 X 및 Y는 독립적으로 단일 결합, (티오)카복실산 에스테르 그룹, 메틸렌옥시 그룹 또는 에틸렌 그룹이고,및는 독립적으로 환-형성 원자로서 1내지 2개의 산소 또는 질소원자를 함유할 수 있는 6--환-1,4-디일 그룹이다)이고,*가 부착된 탄소원자는 비대칭 탄소원자를 나타낸다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,및는 같거나 다를 수 있고, p-페닐렌, 1,4-시클로헥실렌, 2,5-(1,3-디옥산)디일, 2,5-피리딘디일, 2,5-피리미딘디일, 2,5-(1,4-피라진)디일 또는 3,6-(1,2-피리다진)디일인 광학 활성 화합물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, M이이고, X 및 Y중 하나가 단일 결합이고, 다른 하나는 카복실산 에스테르 그룹이고,및모두는 p-페닐레인 광학 활성 화합물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, M이이고, X는 단일결합이고,는 둘다 p-페닐렌인 광학 활성 화합물.
  5. 다음 일반식의 디키랄 화합물.
    상기식에서, R2및 R3는 독립적으로 탄소수 1 내지 3의 저급 알킬 그룹이고, R4는 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬그룹이고, Q3는 (티오) 에테르 그룹, (티오)카복실산 에스테르 그룹, 카보닐 그룹 또는 카보닐디옥시 그룹이고, n은 2 내지 6의 정수이고, Z는 히드록실 그룹, 티올 그룹, 카복실 그룹 또는 티오카복실 그룹이다.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, n이 2인 디키랄 화합물.
  7. 제1항에 따른 광학 활성 화합물 적어도 1종 및 임의로 모액정을 포함하는 액정 조성물.
  8. 적어도 한쌍의 기판과 이들 기판사이에 놓인 제1항에 따른 액정 조성물1종으로 이루어진 액정 광변조 장치.
