Claims (9)

  1. 기억되는 데이타에 대한 메모리에 작용하는 제 1 상태 또는 제 2 상태를 추정할 수 있는 동공을 가진 레이저와, 상기 레이저를 선택적으로 광학적 트리거 하도록 기억되는 데이타를 가진 제 1 도는 제 2 상태에 결합되는 기재수단과, 레이저의 상태를 선택적으로 전달하도록 도파관에 결합되는 판독 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 레이저의 동공은 제 1 도파관을 구비하며, 상기 기재수단은 상기 제 1 도파관과 함께 방향성 결합기를 형성하는 제 2 도파관을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 방향성 결합기는 고정되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
  4. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 방향결합기는 제어가능하며, 기재제어수단이 상기 방향성 결합기의 동작을 선택적으로 제어하도록 결합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
  5. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 판독수단은 상기 제 1 도파관과 함께 제 2 방향성 결합기를 형성하는 제 3 도파관을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 방향성 결합기는 제어가능하며, 판독제어수단이 상기 제 2 방향성 결합기의 동작을 광학적 또는 전기적으로 제어하도록 결합되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
  7. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 레이저는 광학 이득부재와, 레이저용 동공의 역할을 도파관과 직렬로 있는 포화성 흡수재를 구비하며, 상기 광학이득부재, 상기 포화성 흡수재, 상기 도파관은 두개의 전반사 표면사이에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
  8. 제 1 도파관과 상기 제 1 도파관의 한 단부에 결합된 전반사 표면과, 광학 이득부재와, 상기 제 1 도파관의 다른 단부와 제 2 전반사 표면 사이에 끼워진 광학흡수재를 구비하며, 상기 제 1 도파관, 광학 흡수재, 광학 이득부재 및 전반사 표면의 쌍은 레이저를 형성하여 기억되는, 데이타에 대한 메모리로 작용하는 제 1 상태 또는 제 2 상태로 동작하며, 여기서 상기 제 1 도파관은 상기 레이저의 동공이고, 제 2 도파관은 제 1 도파관과 결합되어 방향성 결합기를 형성하는 광학장치에 있어서, 상기 제 2 도파관에 의해 운반되는 광학입력 데이타신호는 입력신호를 나타내는 두 상태중 하나로 동작하도록 상 레이저를 트리거시키며, 제 3 도파관은 상기 제 1 도파관과 결합하여 제 2 방향성 결합기를 형성하며, 판독제어수단이 레이저 동공내의 광을 선택적으로 전달하도록 상기 제 3 도파관과 결합되는 것을 특징응로 하는 광학장치.
  9. 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 도파관의 한 단부에 결합된 제 1 입력과, 상기 제 2 도파관의 다른 단부에 결합된 제 2 입력을 구비하며 여기서 논리 OR동작의 결과가 광학적으로 기억되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학장치.
