Claims (4)

  1. 수평 및 수직축을 따라 배열된 다수 셀 화소들의 배열을 갖는 표시장치에 있어서 ; 직선인 수직 및 수평 영숫자선을 생성하고, 전체적으로 동일한 형상을 가지고 상방 및 하방으로 경사진 영숫자선을 생성하기 위해 상기 화소(11)를 구성하는 상기 셀의 배열로서, 상기 화소(11)의 각각은 가장 밝은셀(W), 밝은셀(G), 중간셀(R) 및 어두운셀(B)를 포함하며, 상기 가장 밝은셀과 상기 밝은셀이 대체로 상기축의 하나에 평행하게 배열되고, 상기 밝은셀과 상기 어두운셀이 상기 축들에 대해 대각선상으로 배열된 상기 셀의 배열을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가장 밝은셀(W)이 백색이고, 상기 밝은셀(G)이 녹색이고, 상기 중각셀(R)이 적색이고, 상기 어두운셀(B)이 청색인 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 표시장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 셀들이 2레벨 장치인 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 표시장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 2레벨 장치가 액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 표시장치.
