Claims (10)

  1. (a) 적어도 부분적으로 중화된 수용성 α,β-에틸렌성 불포화 카복실산 단량체의 수용액 속에서 유효량의 가교결합성 단량체와 분산제(여기서, 분산제는 0.9% 수성염화나트륨 200ml중의 중합된 단량체 1g의 상등액의 표면장력을 60dyne/cm(6pascal) 이하로 감소시키지 않는다)의 분산액을 제조하고, (b) 중화되거나 또는 부분적으로 중화된 카복실산 및 가교결합성 단량체를 중합시키기 위해 분산액을 반응성 조건으로 처리하는 단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 흡수성 중합체 조성물을 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 가교결합성 단량체는 트리메틸톨프로판트리아크릴레이트 또는 디에틸렌 글리콘 디아크릴레이트이고; 수용성 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체는 아크릴산, 메타크릴산, 또는 이들 산의 알칼리 금속염이며, 부산제는 카복시메틸-셀룰로즈 현탁 보조제 또는 폴리비닐 알콜인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 분산액에 존재하는 가교결합성 단량체가 수용성 단량체 100중량부를 기준으로 하여 0.0001 내지 5중량부 범위의 양으로 중합된 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 분산액이 추가로 불포화 카복실산의 수용성 알킬 에스테르와 하나 이상의 비닐 부가중합 개시제 유효량을 함유하는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 수용성 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체가 수성 단량체 분산액의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여 10 내지 80% 범위의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 개시제가 과황산낱륨, 과황산암모늄, 과황산칼륨, 과산화수소, 아조-비스 화합물 또는 레독스형 개시제이고 단량체 반응물의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여 0.01 내지 1.0중량%의 양으로 분산액에 존재하는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 분산액이 가교결합성 단량체, 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체 및 분산제의 수용액을 수용성 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체의 산 그룹을 중화시키기에 유효한 염기성 물질과 접촉시키므로써 제조되는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 단량체 혼합물을 중화시키기 위해 사용하는 염기성 물질이 수산화나트륨, 수산화 칼륨 또는 탄산나트륨이고, 수용성 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체의 산 그룹의 적어도 20%를 중화시키기에 유효한 양으로 사용하는 방법.
  9. (1) 수용성 단량체가 중화된 후에 가교결합성 단량체의 분산액을 유지하기에 유효한 양의 분산제의 존재하에 수용성 에틸렌성 불포화 단량체중의 가교결합성 단량체의 수용액을 형성하고 (여기서, 분산제는, 두 노이(Du Nouy) 장력계로 측정하는 경우, 0.9% 염화나트륨 200ml중의 중합된 단량체 1g의 상등액의 표면장력을 약 60dyne/cm(6pascal) 이하로 감소시키지 않도록 선택한다), (2) 단량체 용액의 대부분을 중화시키기에 충분한 양의 염기성 물질로 단량체 용액을 중화시키고, (3) 하나 이상의 부가중합 개시제를 중화된 단량체 용액에 가하고, (4) 중화된 용액을 중합조건으로 처리하는 단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하여 흡수성 중합체 조성물을 제조하는 방법.
  10. (1) 가교결합성 단량체를 수용성 α,β-에틸렌성 불포화 단량체의 수용액에 용해시키고, (2) 단량체 용액의 대부분을 중화시키기에 충분한 양의 염기성 물질로 단량체 용액을 중화시키고, (3) 중화된 단량체 용액중의 가교결합성 단량체의 분산액을 유지하기에 유효한 양의 분산제를 중화된 용액속에 도입하고(여기서, 분산제는 0.9% 염화나트륨 200ml중의 중합된 단량체 1g의 상등액의 표면장력을 60dyne/cm(6pascal)이하로 감소시키지 않도록 선택한다), (4) 하나 이상의 부가중합 개시제를 중화된 단량체 용액에 가하고, (5) 용액을 중합조건으로 처리하는 단계로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하여 흡수성 중합체 조성물을 제조하는 방법.
