Claims (19)
- 열분해 화합물의 분압을 실질적으로 저하시키는데 효과적인 양의 증기의 존재하에 열분해를 수행함을 특징으로 하여, 할로메틸, 하이드록시메틸, 아세톡시메틸 또는 트리플루오로 아세톡시메틸중의 하나, 및 메틸 또는-탄소상에 하나 이상의 수소를 갖는, 오르토 위치에서 치환된 메틸중의 하나에 의해 치환된 벤젠 또는 나프탈렌을 열분해시킴으로써 사이클로부타렌을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 할로메틸이 클로로메틸인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 치환된 메틸이 저급 알킬 또는 할로메틸인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 할로메틸인 클로로메틸인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열분해 화합물이 방향족 환을 열분해조건에 안정한 하나 이상의 치환체에 의해 추가로 치환시키는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 안정한 그룹이 메틸, 메톡시, 메톡시카보닐, 니트로, 클로로, 브로모 또는 요오도인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제조된 사이클로부타렌이 벤조사이클로부텐이고 열분해 화합물은-클로로-오르토-크실렌인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,-클로로-오르토-크실렌을, 오르토-크실렌을 동일반응계에 염소와 반응시킴으로써 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 증기:열분해 화합물의 몰비가 약 5:1 내지 약 100:1인 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 증기:열분해 화합물의 몰비가 약 10:1 내지 약 40:1인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 반응온도가 약 400 내지 약 800℃인 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 반응온도가 약 500 내지 약 700℃인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 반응총압이 약 0.1 내지 실질적으로 대기압인 방법.
