Claims (15)

  1. (a) 큰 표면적의 탄소 지지물질을 용성 제이주석염 및 촉진제를 함유하는 수용액으로 처리하고 ; (b) 단계 (a)의 물질을 건조시키며 ; (c) 단계 (b)의 물질을 탄화수소에 침지시킨후, 하이드라진 수화물과 진탕시키면서 반응시켜 제이주석염을 산화 제이주석으로 전환시키고 ; (d) 단계 (c)의 물질을 세척하며 ; (e) 단계 (d)의 물질을 건조시킴을 특징으로 하여, 일산화탄소의 산화에 적절한 촉매를 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 큰 표면적의 탄소 지지물질을, (x) 큰 표면적의 탄소 지지물질을 질산수용액으로 처리하고 ; (y) 단계 (x)의 물질을 세척하며 ; (z) 단계 (y)의 물질을 건조시키는 단계를 특징 포함하는 단계로 전처리를 하여, 촉매를 제조하는 방법.
  3. 제1또는 2항에 있어서, 탄소 지지물질이 큰 표면적의 탄소 섬유 직물인 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 제이주석염이 염화제이주석인 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 촉진제가 하나 이상의 백금족 금속염을 함유하는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 촉매가 0.5 내지 5.0중량%의 백금족 금속 및 10 내지 30중량%의 산화제이주석을 함유하는 방법.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 촉진제가 팔라듐염을 함유하는 방법.
  8. 제5항에 있어서, 촉진제가 팔라듐염 및 백금염을 함유하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 단계 (a)에서 지지물질을 공지의 시간동안 용액에 침지시킨 후, 지지물질상에서 떨어지는 과량의 용액을 제거하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 단계 (c)에서 탄화수소가 헥산인 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 단계 (c)의 반응을 환류온도에서 헥산으로 수행하는 방법.
  12. 제1항에 있어서, 단계 (e)에서, 물질을 200℃의 건조기류에서 2시간동안 가열시키는 방법.
  13. 제1항에 따른 방법으로 제조된 촉매.
  14. 제13항에 청구된 촉매상에 일산화탄소를 함유하는 공기를 통과시킴을 특징으로 하여, 공기로부터 일산화탄소를 제거하는 방법
  15. 제13항에 청구된 촉매를 갖는 필터를 포함하는, 공기로부터 일산화탄소를 제거하는데 사용하는 호흡장치.
