파릴렌 이량체의 개선된 제조방법

제1도는 선행기술에 따른 회분식 반응에서의 시간에 따른 2, 2-파라사이클로판의 수율을 나타내는 그래프(여기서, DMSO 대 4급 암모늄염의 몰비는 변한다)이다. 제2도는 디메틸설폭사이드만을 사용하여 수득한 이량체 및 본 발명의 특정한 반응 촉진제와 혼합하여 수득한 이량체의 중량%를 나타내는 그래프이다.

Claims (18)

  1. P-메틸벤질트리메틸암모늄 할라이드의 수용액을 디메틸설폭사이드와 (a) 하기 일반식의 메틸 알킬렌옥시에테르 및 (b) 4개 내지 6개의 산소원자와 12개 내지 18개의 탄소원자를 갖는 크라운 에테르로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택된 하나 이상의 반응 촉진제의 존재하에 알칼리 수산화물과 접촉시킨 후, 2, 2-파라사이클로판을 회수함을 특징으로 하여 파릴렌의 제조에 사용하는 2, 2-파라사이클로판 이량체를 제조하는 개선된 방법.
    상기식에서, n은 1 내지 18이고, m은 0 또는 1 내지 4이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 공정이 불활성 수-볼혼화성 유기 용매의 존재하에 수행되는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 용매가 벤젠, 톨루엔, 파라-크실렌, 오르토-크실렌, 메타-크실렌, 헥산, 옥탄 및 메틸렌 클로라이드의 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 크라운 에테르가 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16-헥사옥사사이클로옥타데칸인 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 메톡시알케닐옥시에테르가 디글림인 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 디글림이 2-메톡시에틸에테르인 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 메톡시알콕시에테르가 테트라 글림인 방법.

  11. P-메틸벤질트리메틸암모늄 클로라이드의 용액을 불활성, 수-불혼화성 유기용매, 디메틸설폭사이드 및 (a) 하기 일반식의 메틸 메톡시에틸 에트레 및 (b) 1, 4, 7, 0, 13, 16-헥사옥사사이클로옥타데칸으로 구성된 하나 이상의 반응 촉진제의 존재하에 알칼리 수산화물과 접촉시킨 후, 2, 2-파라사이클로판을 회수함을 특징으로 하여 2, 2-파라사이클로판을 제조하는 개선된 방법.
    상기식에서, n은 1 내지 18이고, m은 0 또는 1 내지 4이다.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 알칼리 수산화물이 수산화 나트륨인 방법.
