Abstract
Description
본 발명은 건조공정이 필요 없이, 펠렛(pellet)형태로 성형시킬 수 있을뿐 아니라 세균 방지성이 있으며, 또한 소화시키기 좋은 무기질 사료의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a method for preparing an inorganic feed which can be molded into pellets without the need for a drying process and which is resistant to bacteria and is also easy to digest.
가축사료의 영양가를 높이기 위하여 칼슘류, 마그네슘류의 분말로 이루어진 무기질 사료가 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 무기질 사료 자체만으로는 가축이 좋아하는 맛이 나지 않으며, 또 분말 형태로는 입주위에 분말이 부착되기 때문에 먹기 곤란하여 기호성이 반드시 좋다고는 할 수 없다. 이 때문에, 먹기 쉬운 형상으로 만들기 위하여 상기의 무기질 사료를 펠렛화하는 것이 수행되고 있다. 종래 무기질류의 분말을 펠렛화하기 위하여 이 분말에 접착제를 첨가하여 원형성형기, 데스크(desk)형 성형기 등의 압출가압형 조립기(造粒機)를 사용하여 성형시키고 있다. 그런데 이러한 경우, 수분 함량이 적으면, 성형기 대(台)의 구멍이 막히는 등의 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 수분함량을 많게 (20 내지 40중량%)한 습식성형이 수행되고 있다. 그런데, 습식성형의 경우, 성형후의 건조공정이 필요하고, 제조공정이 번잡할뿐 아니라 제품의 비용이 높아지는 등의 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여, 무기질 사료에 식물 경엽(莖葉)류의 분말을 혼합시켜 수분함량을 적게 만드는, 건조공정이 필요없는 성형방법도 실시되고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 방법의 경우에도, 고온다습한 환경하에서는 곰팡이의 발생을 피할 수 없다는 새로운 문제가 생긴다. 여기에서 곰팡이의 발생을 방지하기 위해 프로피온산 등의 약제를 첨가하는 것이 공지되어 있지만, 이러한 약제는 첨가량에 제한이 있으며, 또한 세균방지 효과도충분하지 않은 경우가 있다.In order to increase the nutritional value of livestock feed, mineral feed consisting of powders of calcium and magnesium is used. However, even in such a method, a new problem arises that mold generation cannot be avoided under a high temperature and high humidity environment. It is known to add a drug such as propionic acid in order to prevent the occurrence of mold, but such a drug is limited in the amount of addition, and may also be insufficient in the antibacterial effect.
