Claims (13)

  1. 실리카 콜로이드 및 그룹 Ⅰ또는 그룹Ⅱ금속중 1이상의 양이온으로 이루어진 수성조성물을 겔화하고, 조성물을 건조하며 소성시킴(calcining)을 특징으로 하여, 포화지방족 모노카복실산 화합물 및 포름알데히드 화합물의 알돌형 축합반응에 적합한, 그룹 Ⅰ또는 Ⅱ 금속중 1이상의 양이온 및 실리카 지지물로 구성된 혼성(coformed) 촉매를 제조하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 콜로이드성 실리카가 약 0 내지 250Å의 평균 직경인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 수성조성물이 실리카 고체 약 10 내지60%로 이루어지고, pH를 약 3 내지 10의 범위로 조정하여 이 조성물을 겔화시키는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 실리카를 약 pH 6.0 내지 9.0에서 겔화시키는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 수성조성물에 양이온이 건조고체 기준으로 실리카 100중량부당 .004 내지 1.당량의 농도로 존재하는 방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 수성조성물에 있는 상기 양이온을 알칼리금속 양이온으로 구성하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 알칼리금속 양이온이 세시움인 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 소성화를 300 내지 800℃에서 수행하는 방법.
  9. 포화지방족 모노카복실산 화합물 및 포름알데히드 화합물을, 제1항의 방법으로 제조한 혼성촉매의 존재에서 증기상 조건하에 알돌형 축합시킴을 특징으로 하여 알파, 베타-에틸렌성(ethylenically)불포화 모노카복실산 화합물을 제조하는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 포화지방족 모노카복실산 화합물이 프로피온산인 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 양이온이 건조고체 기준으로 실리카 지지물 100g당 .004 내지 .1당량의 농도로 존재하는 방법.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 양이온이 알칼리금속인 방법.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 알칼리금속이 세시움인 방법.
