CONSISTE EN TRATAR AGLOMERADOS DE ALUMINA ACTIVA CON UN MEDIO ACUOSO QUE CONTIENE UNA MEZCLA DE AL MENOS UN ACIDO QUE PERMITE DISOLVER PARTE DE LA ALUMINA Y AL MENOS UN COMPUESTO QUE APORTA UN ANION CAPAZ DE COMBINARSE CON LOS IONES ALUMINIO; SOMETER LOS AGLOMERADOS ASI TRATADOS A CALENTAMIENTO A TEMPERATURAS ENTRE 80 C Y 250 C; SECADO EVENTUAL DE LOS AGLOMERADOS Y ACTIVACION TERMICA DE LOS MISMOS A TEMPERATURAS ENTRE 500 C Y 1100 C. ESTOS AGLOMERADOS TIENEN APLICACIONES COMO CATALIZADORES.
