Claims (9)
- 임의적인 편광을 갖고 있는 입력 광학신호를 수신하여 단일 선택편광 모우드만을 갖고 있는 출력광학신호를 제공하기 위한 안정한 광학섬유 편광기에 있어서, 코어와 이 코어를 둘러싸고 일부분이 상호작용영역을 형성하기 위한 두께로 되어 있으며 선정된 굴절률을 가진 피복물을 갖고 있는 광학섬유물질, 및 제1굴절귤을 가진 최소한 1개의 제1유전물질층 및 제2굴절률을 가진 최소한 1개의 제2유전 물질층을 포함하고 상호작용 영역에 인접하여 배치된 위상 격자로 구성되고 제1 및 제2굴절률이 피복물의 굴절률과 상이하며, 위상 격자와 광학섬유 물질의 굴절률들이 선택된 편광의 광선을 광학섬유 물질내에서 전달시키고 다른 편광들을 광학섬유 물질의 외부에서 결합하도록 상호 작용영역에서 위상격자와 상호작용 시키게되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안정한 광학섬유 편광기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 위상 격자가 제1두께를 가진 제1유전물질 및 제2두께를 가진 제2유전물질의다수의 교번층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 안정한 광학섬유 편광기.
- 제2항에 있어서, 광학섬유 물질내에서 전달된 선택된 편광 모우드가 상호작용 영역에서 위상 격자에 수직인 것을 특징으로 하는 안정한 광학섬유 편광기.
- 제3항에 있어서, 내부에 슬롯트를 갖고 있는 기부를 포함하고, 피복물이 상호작용 영역에서 슬롯트로부터 외향으로 접촉되는 평평한 표면을 형성하도록 광학섬유 물질이 슬롯트내에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 안정한 광학섬유 편광기.
- 제1항에 있어서, 위상 격자의 굴절률이 피복물의 굴절률과 동일한 온도의 존도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 일정한 광학섬유 편광기.
- 코어와 이 코어를 둘러싸고, 일부분이 상호 작용영역을 형성하도록 선택된 두께를 가진 피복물을 갖고 있는 광학섬유 물질을 형성하는 수단, 제1굴절률을 가진 제1유전물질층을 상호작용 영역에 인접하게 배치시키는 수단 및 제2굴절률을 가진 최소한 1개의 제2유전물질 층을 제2유전물질 층에 인접하게 배치시키는 수단을 포함하고, 제1 및 제2유전 물질의 층들이 제1의 선택된 편광모우드를 광학섬유 물질내로 전달시키고 제2편광의 광선을 광학섬유 물질외부에서 결합시키는 굴절률을 갖고있는 복합 유전체 구조물을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광선 편광 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 선정된 범위내의 온도면등이 상호작용 영역이상으로 전달되는 광선의 편광에 아무영향을 미치지 않도록 피복물의 굴절률의 온도의 존도가 동일한 온도의 의존도를 가진 굴절률들을 갖고 있는 유전물질로부터 위상격자를 형성하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 코어와 일부분 상호작용 영역을 형성하도록 선택된 두께를 가진 코어를 둘러싸는 피복물을 갖고있는 광학섬유물질을 형성하는 수단, 및 제1편광 모우드 및 제2편광 모우드의 광선이 제1편광이 광선을 광학섬유 내에서 전달시키고 제2편광의 광선을 광학섬유물질 외부에서 위상 격자내로 결합하기 위해 상호작용영역에서 위상 격자와 상호작용 시키도록 각각 선택된 경우의 위상 격자 굴절률을 갖고 있는 상호작용 영역에 인접하게 위상 격자를 배치시키는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광선편광 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 선정된 범위내의 온도 변동이 상호작용 영역 이상으로 광학섬유 물질내에서 전달되는 광선의 편광에 아무 영향을 미치지 않도록 피복물의 굴절률의 온도 의존도와 동일한 온도 의존도를 가진 굴절률들을 갖고 있는 유전물질로부터 위상 격자를 형성하는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
