공작 기계의 절삭공정에서 피 가공물로부터 배출되어 낙하하는 칩을 일정 높이로 반송시키어 배출해내는 칩 수거를 위한 컨베이어로서, 다음을 포함하는 것;
상기 칩을 수집하는 호퍼;
상기 호퍼의 하부에 연이어 설치되고, 상기 칩 수거를 위한 반송이 미끄럼방식으로 이루게 하는 수평 및 경사 활주면이 각기 구비되는 수평 부분과, 경사 부분으로 이룬 박스형의 트랩;
상기 트랩의 경사 활주면 상단에서 구비되어 반송된 상기 칩을 배출해내는 토출부; 및
상기 트랩의 내부 전장으로 설치되어 별도의 구동 원을 이용해 구동하며, 상기 칩들이 자력에 의해 상기 트랩의 활주면을 타고 강제 이송되게 하는 무한궤도의 자력 반송유닛을 포함하며,
여기서, 상기 호퍼로 수집된 상기 칩이 상기 자력 반송유닛에서의 자력에 의해 상기 트랩의 수평 및 경사 활주면을 타고 이송되어 상기 토출부로 배출되게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 칩 수거를 위한 컨베이어.
