Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an anti-aging cosmetic composition comprising an extract of Citrusfortunella microcarpa as an active ingredient.
As the quality of life of modern people has improved, interest in cosmetics has soared as people's interest in cosmetics has increased. Among them, products with excellent anti-aging effects are attracting attention.
Calamansi (Citrusfortunella microcarpa) is a citrus plant with the oriental cultivated in Southeast Asia such as Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia. It is also called Citrus microcarpa bunge, Kalamansi, Calamondin. Calaman City contains more than 20 times more vitamin C than lemon, and it has excellent antioxidative effect. Accordingly, the inventors of the present invention have developed a cosmetic composition having an excellent anti-aging effect including the Kalamanshi extract by confirming that the anti-aging effect is significantly exerted when the extract of Kalamansi is contained as an active ingredient and contained in an appropriate ingredient ratio, .
It is an object of the present invention to provide an anti-aging cosmetic composition comprising an extract of Citrusfortunella microcarpa as an active ingredient.

The anti-aging cosmetic composition may contain 0.001 to 50% by weight of Kalamanshi extract based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.

The present invention provides an anti-aging cosmetic composition comprising an extract of Citrus fortunella microcarpa as an active ingredient.
The anti-aging cosmetic composition may contain 0.001 to 50% by weight of Kalamanshi extract based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition, but is not limited thereto, preferably 0.1 to 50% by weight.
When the amount of the Kalamanshi extract is less than 0.1% by weight, the anti-aging effect is difficult to be exerted. If it exceeds 10% by weight, large irritation to the skin may occur or the stability of the composition may be deteriorated .
According to a most preferred embodiment of the cosmetic composition for use in the present invention, the amount of Kalamansi extract contained in the composition of the present invention is 5% by weight.
The Calamansi extract may be extracted with one or more solvents selected from the group consisting of water or an aqueous ethanol solution.
The aqueous ethanol solution may be an aqueous solution of 30 to 99% ethanol.
In preparing the Kalamanshi extract, the Kalamanshi powder may be added in an amount of 10-30% by weight based on the total weight of the solvent.

As a result, as shown in Table 5 and FIG. 2, ABTS radical scavenging activity was higher in the order of 30% ethanol extract, 60% ethanol extract, 80% ethanol extract, 99% ethanol extract and distilled water extract.
< Experimental Example 2> Total polyphenol and total flavonoid content measurement
To measure the total polyphenol content, 1 ml of methanol and 5 ml of distilled water were added to 1 ml of each concentration extract and mixed. Then, 0.5 ml of 1 N-folin-ciocalteu's phenol reagent was added, and the mixture was allowed to stand for 5 minutes. 1 ml of 5% Na 2 CO 3 was added to a stationary sample, and the reaction was allowed to proceed for 1 hour in a dark place. The absorbance at 725 nm was analyzed using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. A standard curve was prepared using Gallic acid in the same manner as above, and the total polyphenol content was confirmed by comparing the absorbance of each sample. The results obtained are shown as GAE (gallic acid equivalent) per gram of sample.
To determine the total flavonoid content, 0.1 ml of 10% Al (NO 3 ) 3 and 1 M KCH 3 CO 2 were added to 0.5 ml of a mixture of methanol extract and methanol at a ratio of 1: 9 . 4.3 ml of methanol was added thereto, and the mixture was reacted at room temperature for 40 minutes. The absorbance of the reacted sample was measured at a wavelength of 415 nm using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The total flavonoid content was verified against the standard curve plotted in the same manner using quercetin. The results obtained are shown as QE (quercetin equivalent) per gram of sample.
The accuracy of the results was improved by calculating the dilution factor for each concentration.
As a result, total polyphenol and total flavonoid contents were as high as 60% ethanol extract, 80% ethanol extract, 30% ethanol extract, 99% ethanol extract and distilled water extract as shown in Table 6 and FIGS.
