- 환각지(phantom limb)를 치료하기 위해 NAD+를 증가시키는 약제.
- 통증 치료제, 예컨대 이부프로펜, 아스피린, 파라세타몰, 오피오이드, 및 통증의 치료를 위한 다른 통증 치료제를 이용한 치료 이전, 이와 동시에, 이와 결합하여, 그 이후, 또는 이를 대신하여 전달되는 NAD+를 증가시키는 약제.
