Abstract

The present invention relates to a whitening cosmetic comprising an extract of Artemisia japonica Thunb. As an active ingredient. The present invention is harmless to human body, has excellent safety, and has excellent skin whitening effect.

Description

{Whitening cosmetic with extract of Artemisia japonica Thunb.}

The present invention relates to a whitening cosmetic, and more particularly, to a whitening cosmetic containing an extract of Artemisia japonica Thunb. As an active ingredient.

The skin color of a person varies depending on the number, size, type and distribution of melanosomes containing melanin mainly contained in skin cells. Melanin is present in skin, hair, eyes, etc. The larger the size of melanocytes, the larger the amount of melanin, the darker the skin color and protects the skin by blocking the penetration of harmful ultraviolet rays.

Such abnormal production of melanin causes skin lesions such as vitiligo. On the contrary, if melanin is excessively synthesized by ultraviolet rays or the like, it not only damages the skin but also forms spots and freckles, and furthermore it causes skin cancer.

When melanocytes are exposed to ultraviolet light, DAG (diacrylglycerol) is liberated and causes melanogenesis through PKC (protein kinase C) -β signaling. In addition, keratinocytes exposed to sunlight emit nitric oxide (NO), α-MSH, ACTH, PGE2, and endothelin-1 and migrate to melanocytes. NO is transferred to cGMP and PKG signaling, Melanin is produced because it causes melanogenesis reaction through cAMP and PKA signal transduction.

The skin consists of epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissue, and melanocytes are present in the epidermis. Tyrosinase is an enzyme involved in the formation of melanin by oxidizing tyrosine. This enzyme produces dopaquinone that acts on the amino acid tyrosine present in the tissue, and melanin, which is a black pigment, is produced from this dopaquinone through several automatic oxidation processes.

Tyrosinase is inhibited by antioxidants. Thus, when the activity of tyrosinase is inhibited, the melanin pigment formation is suppressed and the whitening effect is exhibited, which interferes with the function of tyrosinase involved in melanin production such as enzyme acid (kojic acid), lucinol, eric acid or arbutin The use of substances that are

On the other hand, existing ascorbic acid, kojic acid, arbutin and some extracts have tyrosinase inhibitory activity and are used as a whitening cosmetic. However, they are poor in stability in a cosmetic formulation system, and are used because of problems such as decomposition and coloring, generation of odor, efficacy at a living body level, unclearness of effects and safety, and the like.

Moreover, synthetic antioxidants are known to cause adverse effects on carcinogenesis and cardiovascular system, and studies on antioxidants having safer and superior effects derived from natural products are actively conducted.

In order to solve these various problems, recently, many cosmetics using natural products have been developed to reduce skin irritation caused by various chemical substances and the like. Natural materials are not only less harmful to the skin, but also have increased their value as a raw material for cosmetics due to the recent popularity of cosmetics using natural materials.

Korean Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-2014-0121626 (Publication Date: Oct. 16, 2014) discloses a composition for skin whitening using an extract of Wenzhou citrus flower having a melanin production inhibitory activity when treated with Murine B16F10 melanoma .

The present invention provides a skin whitening cosmetic which is harmless to a human body, has excellent safety, overcomes the problems of the conventional whitening agent as described above, has an excellent whitening effect and has no side effects

The present invention provides a cosmetic for skin whitening characterized by containing an extract of Artemisia japonica Thunb. As an active ingredient. In the present invention, it was confirmed that an excellent whitening effect is exerted on the extract of Zygomycetes spontaneously grown in Korea, and the present invention has been completed.

It is a perennial plant that grows widely in mountainous areas. Stems grow up to 60-100 cm high. There is almost no hair on the outpost, and leaves are out of order. Leaves are lanceolate or long triangle with wedge shape at bottom, wide tip with deep sawtooth, or shallowly divide into 3-5. Petiole is short or almost no. Flowers bloom in August-October, and hair-like flowers form a cone flower at the ends of the stem and branches. Flowers gathered are ovate. Fruits are long oval with achenes. It grows wild throughout the country.

The extract of the present invention can be obtained, for example, from the seeds or roots of the common mugwort. Preferably, it is extracted using ethanol. More preferably, it is preferable to immerse the zygomorphous outposts or roots in ethanol and let stand, and then extract by filtration. In addition, if necessary, the thus obtained extract may be concentrated and dried to prepare a powder form and then used.

On the other hand, in the cosmetic for whitening skin of the present invention, it is preferable that the above-described extract from Ziwi curd is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1 to 2.0% by weight based on the whole cosmetics. If it is added in an amount larger than the above-mentioned weight, it is economically undesirable. If it is added in an amount less than the above-mentioned weight, skin whitening effect is not exhibited.

On the other hand, in the skin whitening cosmetic of the present invention, the cosmetic for whitening skin preferably comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of lotion, gel, water-soluble liquid, cream, essence, BB cream O / W, w / (W / S) type emulsion and a cream.

The present invention is to provide a cosmetic composition which is harmless to the human body, has excellent safety, and has excellent skin whitening effect, and has been developed and provided as a cosmetic product containing the same.

FIG. 1 is a graph showing a change in skin brightness (unit: AU) after use of a skin whitening cosmetic composition containing the present invention extract.
FIG. 2 shows the skin brightness improvement rate (unit:%) after use of the skin whitening cosmetic product containing the present invention extract of the present invention.

[Preparation Example 1: Artemisia japonica  Thunb.) ≪ / RTI >

1) Preparation of extracts

1.2 kg of dried nectarine was dried in a dark place by natural drying method in Jeju Island, and it was immersed in 12 liters of ethanol, which was 10 times the weight. After standing for 72 hours at room temperature (25 ℃), it was filtered with a filter paper, To prepare an extractive stock solution. The crude extract solution of the Zygomycetae spp. Extract was concentrated under reduced pressure at 40 캜 using a rotary vacuum concentrator to obtain a Zygomycetes spp. Ethanol extract. Thereafter, the ethanol extract of Zyparis spp. Was dissolved in distilled water, filtered and diluted to the appropriate concentration in the experiment.

2) Preparation of root extract

The extracts were prepared in the same manner as in (1) above except that the extracts were applied in the same amount as the outposts without applying the extracts.

[Example 1: Preparation of a whitening cream containing an extract of Zygomyceta powder]

An emulsifier such as sorbitan stearate, C14-22 alcohol, C12-20 alkyl glucoside, and squalane (60 to 70% by weight) in which a skin moisturizing agent component such as Betaine is dissolved in purified water, (25 to 30% by weight) in which the oil-soluble ingredients such as water and the like are dissolved is slowly added thereto and mixed with a homogenizer.

A cream base cosmetic base was prepared by adding an agitator (0.1-0.5 wt%) such as xanthan gum to the water-oil mixture, and the cream base was added and stirred at 80 ° C during the production of the cream base.

The cream base thus prepared was cooled to 50 캜, and a preservative (0.2 to 0.7% by weight) such as 1.0% by weight of the extract of Zygomycetes chinensis extract, phenoxyethanol and chlorphenesin, various flavors and additives To 5% by weight) was slowly added to the mixture with a homogenizer, and the mixture was slowly cooled to room temperature to prepare a whitening cream cosmetic product containing the extract of Zygomyceta powder (the Zykispora extract prepared in Preparation Example 1).

[ Test Example  1: Whitening cream containing cosmetic extract Skin whitening  Human body application test for effect]

10 adult women who were satisfied with the selection criteria among those aged 30 to 50 and who did not meet the exclusion criteria were divided into two groups: 2, and 4 weeks for skin whitening effect.

The skin whitening effect of the subject was photographed on the front face using a facial camera (VISIA-CR, Canfield, USA) equipped with a camera (Canon, EOS 5D Mark II, JAPAN). Skin brightness was measured with a spectrophotometer CM- , Minolta, Japan) were used to measure the face area (eye area) of each subject 3 times, and the average value was used.

The skin whitening effect of the subjects was measured before use (0 weeks), 2 weeks after using the product, and 4 weeks after using the product.

The subject's skin brightness was measured using the instrumental measurement unit (Arbitrary Unit: A.U.) and the measured value, L value. L value (Brightness), which is a measurement variable, means that the skin color becomes brighter as the measured value becomes larger.

Comparison of skin whitening differences before and after product use was analyzed by paired t-test method. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0 software. All statistical results were considered statistically significant at 5% (p <0.05). The results of skin brightness measurement using a spectrophotometer were as follows.
