Abstract
[해결 수단] 연하를 보조하기 위한 연하 보조 장치(1)는, 호흡을 검출하는 제어 유닛(2) 내의 압력 센서와, 연하를 촉진시키는 자극을 부여하기 위해서 대상 부위에 부설되는 전극 유닛(4)과, 전극 유닛(4)을 제어하는 제어 유닛(2) 내의 제어부를 구비한다. 제어부는 압력 센서로부터의 검출 신호에 기초하여 검출되는 호기 기간에 있어서, 상기 대상 부위에 대한 자극의 부여를 개시함과 아울러, 당해 호기 기간에 있어서, 상기 대상 부위에 대한 자극의 부여를 종료하도록, 전극 유닛(4)을 제어한다. 이것에 의해, 오연이 일어나기 어렵다고 여겨지는 기간에만 전극 유닛(4)의 구동이 행해지기 때문에, 오연을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있다.

Claims (10)
- 연하(嚥下, swallowing)를 보조하기 위한 연하 보조 장치에 있어서,
호흡을 검출하는 호흡 검출부와,
상기 연하를 촉진시키는 자극을 부여하기 위해서 대상 부위에 부설(付設)되는 부여 유닛과,
상기 부여 유닛을 제어하는 제어부를 구비하고,
상기 제어부는, 상기 호흡 검출부로부터의 검출 신호에 기초하여 검출되는 호기 기간(expiration period)에 있어서, 상기 대상 부위에 대한 상기 자극의 부여를 개시함과 아울러, 당해 호기 기간에 있어서, 상기 대상 부위에 대한 상기 자극의 부여를 종료하도록, 상기 부여 유닛을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 제어부는, 상기 대상 부위에 대한 상기 자극의 부여를 개시하는 타이밍이 호기상(expiratory phase)의 전반 부분에 포함되도록, 상기 부여 유닛을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 2에 있어서,
상기 제어부는, 상기 호흡 검출부로부터의 검출 신호에 기초하여 호기상의 개시를 검출하고, 호기상이 개시된 직후에 상기 대상 부위에 대한 상기 자극의 부여를 개시하도록, 상기 부여 유닛을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 2에 있어서,
상기 제어부는, 상기 호흡 검출부로부터의 검출 신호에 기초하여 호기가 피크가 되는 타이밍을 검출하고, 호기가 피크가 되는 타이밍에 있어서 상기 대상 부위에 대한 상기 자극의 부여를 개시하도록, 상기 부여 유닛을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 1 내지 청구항 4 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는, 상기 대상 부위에 대한 상기 자극의 부여를 종료하는 타이밍이 호기상의 전반 2/3의 타이밍보다도 조기(早期)가 되도록, 상기 부여 유닛을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 1 내지 청구항 5 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 자극의 부여를 개시하는 타이밍에서부터 상기 자극의 부여를 종료하는 타이밍까지의 시간은, 100ms~1000ms로 설정되는 것을 특징으로 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 1 내지 청구항 6 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는, 당해 연하 보조 장치의 작동시에, 상기 호기 기간에 있어서 상기 대상 부위에 자극을 부여하는 동작을 행하는 동작 기간과, 상기 호기 기간에 있어서 상기 대상 부위에 자극을 부여하는 동작을 행하지 않는 비동작 기간을, 교호(交互)로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 7에 있어서,
상기 동작 기간과 상기 비동작 기간의 설정을 접수하기 위한 접수부를 추가로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 측정 장치. - 청구항 1 내지 청구항 8 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 부여 유닛은, 플러스의 극과 마이너스의 극을 쌍으로 하는 전극을 구비하고, 상 후두 신경에 전기적인 자극이 부여되도록, 피부에 부착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치. - 청구항 9에 있어서,
상기 부여 유닛에는, 상기 전극의 쌍이 2개 마련되고,
상기 제어부는, 이들 2쌍의 전극에 대해서 서로 다른 주파수의 전기 신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연하 보조 장치.
