Description
도 2. GLA-SE 보조제는 이종 H5N1 바이러스를 사용한 챌린지 후 예방접종된 마우스에서 생존을 증진시킨다. 동물(5마리/그룹)을 GLA-SE 보조제와 함께 제형화된 50ng의 동종 (VN) rH5, GLA-SE 보조제 속에 제형화된 50ng 또는 200ng의 이종(Indo) rH5, 또는 200ng의 이종 rH5 단독 또는 SE 유액과 함께 제형화된 rH5로 예방접종하였다. 마우스를 14일째에 H5N1 Viet Nam 1203 바이러스 (1000x LD50)로 챌린지(IN)하고 생존 및 체중 감소에 대해 모니터링하였다. 각각의 데이타 점은 그룹당 평균 체중감소 +/- s.e.m.을 나타낸다.

Claims (11)
- (a) 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스로부터의 재조합체 적혈구응집소(rHA) 및
(b) 보조제를 포함하는 약제학적 조성물로서,
상기 보조제는 글리코실 및 아미노 치환된 글루코실로부터 각각 독립적으로 선택된 환원 말단 및 비-환원 말단을 갖는 이당류를 포함하며, 상기 비-환원 말단의 1 위치에서 탄소는 에테르(-O-) 또는 아미노(-NH-) 그룹을 통해 환원 말단의 6' 위치의 탄소에 연결되어 있고, 상기 이당류는 비-환원 말단의 4' 탄소를 통해 인산염 그룹에 및 아미드(-NH-C(O)-) 및/또는 에스테르(-O-C(O)-) 연결을 통해 다수의 지질 그룹에 결합되고, 상기 에스테르 또는 아미드 연결의 카보닐(-C(O)-) 그룹은 지질 그룹에 직접 연결되며, 각각의 지질 그룹은 적어도 8개의 탄소를 포함하며,
약제학적 조성물의 단일 주사에 의해 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 이를 필요로 하는 피험자를 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물. - 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 약제학적 조성물의 투여가 단일 주사 후 집단의 적어도 50%에서 혈청전환을 달성하는, 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 집단을 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
- 청구항 1 또는 2에 있어서, 상기 약제학적 조성물이 유액을 포함하지 않는, 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 집단을 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
- 청구항 1 내지 3 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 조성물이 오일을 포함하지 않는, 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 집단을 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
- 청구항 1 내지 4 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 보조제가 GLA인 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 집단을 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
- (a) 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스로부터의 재조합체 적혈구응집소(rHA) 및
(b) 보조제를 포함하는 약제학적 조성물로서,

- 청구항 6에 있어서, 상기 rHA가 보조제의 부재하에서 보호 면역성을 제공하지 않는 농도로 존재하는, 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 피험자를 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
- 청구항 6 내지 8 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 단일의 재조합체 단백질을 포함하는, 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 피험자를 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
- 청구항 6에 있어서, 투여량당 rHA의 양이 약 15 내지 약 1㎍의 범위인, 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 대상체를 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
- 청구항 6에 있어서, 상기 보조제가 GLA이고 상기 rH5가 H5N1 인플루엔자의 병원성 균주로부터 기원하는, 전-유행성 또는 유행성 인플루엔자 바이러스에 대해 피험자를 면역화시키는 방법에서 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물.
