Description
Claims (15)
- 진동 변화를 이용하여 질량을 측정하는 질량측정소자를 픽셀 내에 준비하는 단계;잉크젯 헤드의 노즐로부터 상기 픽셀 내에 잉크를 토출시킨 다음, 상기 질량측정소자를 이용하여 상기 노즐로부터 토출된 잉크의 양을 측정하는 단계; 및상기 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐에 인가되는 전압 파형을 조절하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐 제어방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자는 순차적으로 적층된 제1 전극, 고유 진동수를 가지고 규칙적으로 진동하는 압전 물질층 및 제2 전극을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐 제어방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자는 QCM(Quartz Crystal Microbalance)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐 제어방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자는 상기 픽셀 내의 하부에 마련되는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐 제어방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 잉크젯 헤드로부터 토출된 잉크의 양은 상기 픽셀 내에 잉크가 채워짐에 따라 상기 질량측정소자로부터 측정되는 진동수 변화량(frequency shift value)에 의하여 측정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐 제어방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 잉크젯 헤드로부터 토출된 잉크의 양을 측정하는 단계는,상기 픽셀 내에 잉크가 채워지기 전에 상기 질량측정소자로부터 제1 고유 진동수를 측정하는 단계;상기 픽셀 내에 잉크가 채워진 다음에 상기 질량측정소자로부터 제2 고유 진동수를 측정하는 단계; 및상기 질량측정소자로부터 측정되는 진동수 변화량을 이용하여 상기 픽셀 내에 채워진 잉크의 질량을 계산하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐 제어방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 노즐에 인가되는 전압 파형을 조절하는 단계는,상기 노즐로부터 토출된 잉크의 측정량과 상기 노즐로부터 얻고자 하는 목표 토출량을 비교하는 단계; 및상기 목표 토출량에 대응하는 전압 파형을 상기 노즐에 인가하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐 제어방법.
- 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐들로부터 토출된 잉크가 그 내부에 채워지는 다수의 픽셀; 및상기 픽셀들 각각에 대응하여 마련되는 것으로, 진동 변화를 이용하여 상기 픽셀 내에 채워지는 잉크의 질량을 측정하는 질량측정소자;를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자는 순차적으로 적층된 제1 전극, 고유 진동수를 가지고 규칙적으로 진동하는 압전 물질층 및 제2 전극을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자는 QCM(Quartz Crystal Microbalance)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자는 상기 픽셀 내의 하부에 마련되는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자는 상기 픽셀 내에 잉크가 채워짐에 따라 측정되는 진동수 변화량(frequency shift value)을 이용하여 상기 픽셀 내에 채워진 잉크의 질량을 측정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 픽셀들은 상기 잉크젯 헤드의 노즐들에 대응하여 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 픽셀들이 형성된 프레임을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 질량측정소자의 가장자리부가 상기 프레임에 고정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크의 양 측정장치.
