안전 체결구를 포함하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터{WIPER CONNECTOR FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING A SAFETY FASTENER}
본 발명은 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터에 관한 것이다.
보다 구체적으로는 본 발명은, 와이퍼 아암과 와이퍼 블레이드의 구성 요소 간의 연결 및 관절 운동을 제공하도록 된 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터로서, 이 커넥터는 U자 형태로 후방을 향해 종방향으로 굴곡되어 있는 상기 아암의 전방 단부의 내측에 종방향으로 후방에서부터 전방으로 맞물리며, 상기 커넥터는 이 커넥터를 상기 아암의 전방 단부 내측의 맞물림 위치에 고정시키기 위한 적어도 하나의 탄성 변형 가능한 고정 요소와, 상기 블레이드 요소의 2개의 측방향 날개 사이에 수용되도록 구성된 2개의 종방향 수직 플랭크(flank)를 포함하는 형태의 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터에 관한 것이다.

공지의 방식에 있어서, 커넥터(42)의 2개의 평행한 플랭크(48)를 연결하는 횡방향 웹(50)은 와이퍼 아암(22)의 U자형의 후크 형상 단부(32)의 오목한 내측 윤곽에 대해 상보적인 볼록한 윤곽을 갖는다. 상기 웹은 후방을 향해 종방향으로 연장하는 제1의 수평 플랫 부분(54)과, 관절 운동용 로드(46)를 적어도 부분적으로 덮도록 되어 있으며 상기 후크 형상 단부(32)의 굴곡된 부분(38)의 내측면(58)의 형상에 대해 상보적인 형상을 갖는 제2의 굴곡된 전방부(56)를 포함한다.
로드(46)는 와이퍼 블레이드(24)에 대해 커넥터(42)를 횡방향 축선 "T1"을 중심으로 관절 운동하도록 장착할 수 있게 해준다.
커넥터(42)를 로드(46)에 결합한 후에, 이러한 부조립체(42, 46)에 와이퍼 아암(22)을 조립하는 것은 공지의 방식으로 이루어지는 데, 즉, 커넥터(42)의 웹(50)에 후크 형상 단부(32)를 종방향으로 전방에서 후방으로 결합하여, 상기 로드(30)의 평행한 측방향 면을 커넥터(42)의 플랭크(48) 사이에 수납함으로써 이루어진다.

각 러그(60)는 그 러그를 지지하는 플랭크(48)의 전방 에지에서부터 전방을 향해 종방향으로 연장된다. 이러한 러그(60)의 자유단(62)은 커넥터(42)의 내측을 향해 횡방향으로 연장하는 노즈 형태를 하며, 후크 형상 단부(32)의 굴곡된 부분(38)의 볼록한 면과 협동하도록 되어 있다.
연결 요소(40)는 전체적인 형상이 직사각형 평형 6면체인 플라스틱 재료로 성형된 부품이며, 1개 또는 2개의 부품으로 제조될 수 있다.
이 연결 요소는 2개의 평행한 측방향 날개(44), 후방 단부(64), 그리고 수평 플랫 베이스(66)로 이루어진다.
상기 연결 요소의 전방면(68)과 상면(70)은 커넥터(42)를 장착하고, 이어서 아암(22)을 장착할 수 있도록 개방되어 있다.
상기 베이스(66)의 하면(67)은 연결 요소(40)를 위한 연결 수단을 수용한다. 이들 연결 수단은 지지체(26)를 수용하도록 되어 있는 슬라이드(72)를 포함하며, 이 슬라이드는 상기 연결 요소(40)가 종방향으로 활주함으로써 지지체(26) 상에 장착될 수 있게 해준다. 연결 수단은 또한 예를 들면 상보적인 형상들을 함께 탄성적으로 끼워 맞춤으로써 잠겨지는 것과 같이 장착 상태를 종방향으로 고정시키기 위한 수단을 포함한다(상세하게 도시하지는 않음).
커넥터(42)를 연결 요소(40) 내에 끼운 후에, 커넥터(42)는 후크 형상 단부(32)의 내측에 맞물리게 된다. 커넥터(42)가 맞물릴 때, 러그(60)는 그 러그(60)의 측방향 내면(61)의 경사진 형상으로 인해 탄성적으로 외측으로 변형되어, 아암(22)이 통과할 수 있게 하며, 커넥터(42)가 아암(22)에 맞물리게 되면 러그(60)는 원래의 안정 상태를 다시 취하게 되어, 커넥터(42)를 후크(32)의 내측에서의 맞물림 위치에 종방향으로 고정시키게 된다.
커넥터(42)는 상기 연결 요소(40)의 날개(44) 사이에 수납되며, 러그(60)는 날개(44)의 전방 에지의 앞쪽에 배치되어, 아암(22)을 제거하려고 할 때 날개(44)에 의해 러그(60)의 변형이 방지되는 것을 피할 수 있다.
본 발명의 교시에 따르면, 연결 요소(40)의 전방면(68)은 안전 체결구(74)에 의해 폐쇄되며, 이 안전 체결구는 또한 하우징 캡을 형성한다.
체결구(74)는 캡 형태로 플라스틱 재료로 성형된 중공 부품이다. 이 체결구는 연결 요소의 수직 축선 V1을 중심으로 관절 운동하게 연결되며, 또한 커넥터(42)를 도 2에 도시한 후크 형상 단부(32)의 내측에서의 맞물림 위치에 고정시키는 폐쇄 위치와, 커넥터(42)의 분리를 허용하는 개방 위치 사이에서 이동할 수 있다.
커넥터(42)를 고정시키는 잠금 기능은 러그(60)의 측방향 외면(59)을 따라 연장하는 체결구(74)의 측방향 수직벽(76)의 내면(77)에 의해 제공된다. 따라서, 체결구(74)는 러그(60)가 커넥터(42)의 외측을 향해 횡방향으로 변형되는 것을 방지하며, 이에 의해 커넥터(42)는 후크(32)로부터 분리될 수 없게 된다.
체결구(74)는 전체적으로 미적 외형과 공기역학적 형상을 갖고 있다. 이를 위해, 체결구(74)가 폐쇄 위치에 있을 때, 측방향 면(76)은 연결 요소(40)의 날개(44)와 나란히 연장하여, 그들의 측방향 외면이 서로 동일 평면에 있게 된다.
체결구(74)의 관절 운동 축선 "V1"은 연결 요소(40)의 날개(44)의 전방 에지와 정렬되게 배치된다. 관절 운동 힌지는 연결 요소(40)의 원통형 요소(74)에 의해 생성될 수 있으며, 이는 원통형 요소(78)에 대해 상보적인 홈을 갖는 체결구(74)의 후크 형성 요소(80)에 의해 덮여진다.
폐쇄 위치에서 체결구(74)는 그 체결구(74)의 러그(82)에 의해 이동 불가능하게 된다. 이러한 고정용 러그(82)는, 후크 형성 요소(80)를 갖는 측방향 면(76)의 반대측의 측방향 벽(76)의 후방 플랭크로부터 종방향으로 후방을 향해 연장한다. 러그(82)는 관련된 날개(44)의 하우징(84)에 탄성적으로 끼워진다.
새로운 블레이드를 아암에 장착해야 할 때, 낡은 블레이드(24)의 연결 요소(40)는 남겨 두는 것이 아니라, 새로운 블레이드의 연결 요소로 대체된다. 따라서, 각 연결 요소는 블레이드가 낡았음을 나타내는 표시기를 구비할 수 있다. 그러한 요소는 대체로 노화 표시기(86)로서 지칭되는 타블렛(tablet) 형태이며, 연결 요소(40)의 날개(44)의 외면에 배치된다.
새로운 블레이드가 끼워진 후에, 노화의 검출을 개시하기 위해서는 표시기로부터 보호 필름을 제거해야 한다. 따라서, 이러한 보호 필름은 원래는 체결구 캡(74)을 폐쇄하고, 그 체결구 캡의 개방은 보호 필름의 제거를 요하도록 마련될 수 있다.
와이퍼(20)는 "플랫 블레이드"형 블레이드(24)를 포함하는 것으로서 기재하고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 실시예에 한정되지 않고, 지지체(26)가 보조 요크를 구비한 메인 요크를 포함하는 표준 형태의 블레이드(24)를 포함할 수도 있다. 따라서, 표준 블레이드(24)의 경우, 연결 요소(40)가 지지체(26)의 메인 요크 요소이다.
본 발명이 전술한 실시예에 한정되지 않고 기구적 변형 및 단순한 등가물을 사용할 수 있다는 것을 이해할 것이다.
따라서, 체결구(74)는 연결 요소(40)와 하나의 부품으로 제조될 수도 있다. 보다 정확하게는, 체결구(74)의 측방향 면(76)의 후방 에지는 축선 "V1"을 중심으로 한 관절 운동 힌지를 형성하는 소정 재료의 얇은 스트립에 의해 연결 요소(40)의 대응하는 전방 에지와 연결된다.
따라서, 본 발명은 모듈형 와이퍼 장착부를 갖도록 할 수 있는 데, 다시 말해 표준 아암과 커넥터를 사용하여, 블레이드가 "플랫 블레이드" 형태인가의 여부에 관계없이 본 발명에 따라 구성 요소가 마련된 임의의 형태의 와이퍼 블레이드를 장착하도록 할 수 있다. 본 발명은 또한 블레이드의 예상치 않은 분리의 위험이 없도록 장착 상태를 보호할 수 있게 해준다.

Claims (14)

  1. 와이퍼 아암(22)과 와이퍼 블레이드(24)의 블레이드 요소(40) 간의 연결 및 관절 운동을 제공하도록 된 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터로서,
    상기 커넥터는 U자 형태로 후방을 향해 종방향으로 굴곡되어 있는 상기 아암(22)의 전방 단부(32)의 내측에 종방향으로 후방에서부터 전방으로 맞물리며, 상기 커넥터는 이 커넥터(42)를 상기 아암(22)의 전방 단부(32) 내측의 맞물림 위치에 고정시키기 위한 적어도 하나의 탄성 변형 가능한 고정 요소(60)와, 블레이드 요소의 2개의 측방향 날개(44) 사이에 수용되도록 구성된 2개의 종방향 수직 플랭크(flank)(48)를 포함하는 것인 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터에 있어서,
    상기 커넥터(42)는 안전 체결구(74)에 의해 상기 아암(22)에서의 맞물림 위치에 잠겨지며, 상기 안전 체결구(74)는 상기 고정 요소(60)의 탄성 변형을 방지하도록 고정 요소(60)에 대해 연장하게 되는 폐쇄 위치와, 상기 아암(22)으로부터 커넥터(42)가 분리될 수 있게 하는 개방 위치 사이에서 이동할 수 있도록 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 안전 체결구(74)는 상기 블레이드 요소(40)에 대해 이동 가능하게 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 안전 체결구(74)는 상기 블레이드 요소(40)에 대해 관 절 운동하게 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 안전 체결구(74)는 상기 블레이드 요소(40)의 거의 수직 축선(V1)을 중심으로 관절 운동하게 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 안전 체결구(74)의 관절 운동 축선(V1)은 상기 블레이드 요소의 하나의 날개(44)의 종방향 전방 단부에 근접하게 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  6. 제2항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 안전 체결구(74)는 상보적인 형상부(82, 84)를 함께 탄성적으로 끼워 맞춤으로써 폐쇄 위치에 유지되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  7. 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 고정 요소는, 상기 커넥터(42)의 하나의 플랭크(48)의 종방향 전방 단부로부터 전방을 향해 자유롭게 종방향으로 연장하는 러그(60)이고, 이 러그의 자유단(62)에는 상기 커넥터(42)의 내측을 향해 횡방향으로 연장하며 상기 커넥터(42)가 맞물림 위치에 있을 경우 상기 아암(22)의 종방향 전방 단부(38)의 전방면에 대해 연장하고 있는 경사 형상부 또는 고정용 노즈가 마련되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 안전 체결구(74)는 폐쇄 위치에서 상기 커넥터(42)의 고정용 러그(60)의 자유단(62)의 측방향 외면에 대해 연장하는 캡을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 안전 체결구(74)는 상기 고정용 러그(60)가 커넥터의 외부를 향해 횡방향으로 변형되는 것을 방지하여, 상기 아암(22)의 전방 단부(32)의 외측에서 커넥터가 분리되지 않게 하는 것을 보장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차용 와이퍼 커넥터.
  10. 와이퍼 블레이드(24)와 와이퍼 아암(22) 사이의 연결 장치에 있어서,
    제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 와이퍼 커넥터와, 와이퍼 블레이드(24) 상에 장착된 블레이드 요소(40)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 블레이드(24)의 상기 블레이드 요소(40)의 날개(44) 중 하나는 외면에 블레이드 노화 표시기(86)를 구비하며, 이 표시기는 체결구가 개방될 때 적어도 부분적으로는 자동적으로 제거되는 보호 필름으로 처음에는 덮여있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연결 장치.
  12. 와이퍼 블레이드(24)의 와이퍼 고무(28)를 위한 지지체(26)와, 와이퍼 아 암(22)에 대한 연결 수단을 포함하는 와이퍼 블레이드(24)에 있어서,
    상기 연결 수단은, 상기 지지체(26) 상에 장착되어 제1항 내에 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 와이퍼 커넥터(42)를 수용하는 삽입편으로서의 블레이드 요소(40)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 와이퍼 블레이드.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 블레이드 요소(40)는 상기 블레이드(24)의 와이퍼 고무를 위한, 관절 운동하는 지지체(26)의 메인 요크의 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 와이퍼 블레이드.
  14. 와이퍼 블레이드(24)와, 이 와이퍼 블레이드(24)와 와이퍼 아암(22) 사이의 연결 장치를 포함하며, 이 연결 장치에는 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 와이퍼 커넥터가 마련되는 것인 자동차용 와이퍼.
