Description
Claims (19)
- 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나로서,상기 그물형 네트워크의 인접 노드들과 통신하도록 방사 패턴을 합성하는 다수의 위상 배열 소자; 및상기 다수의 위상 배열 소자로 마이크로파 전력을 공급하고, 상기 방사 패턴의 지향성을 제어하는 구동회로를 포함하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 복수의 위상 배열 소자 및 상기 구동회로를 수용하는 외장(enclosure)을 더 포함하며, 상기 외장의 두께는 대략 3cm 인 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 다수의 위상 배열 소자는, 대략 25cm × 20cm 의 면적을 갖는 기판에 배치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 지향성은, P 개의 불연속 방향으로 변환되며, 상기 P는 1 보다 큰 정수인 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 P 는, + 45도, 중앙, -45도에 상응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 방사 패턴의 앙각(仰角)은 고정된 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 방사 패턴의 앙각은, 수평으로부터 경사지게 고정된 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 구동회로는, 송수신기 및 모뎀 회로에 연결된 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,구동회로 및 다수의 위상 배열 소자를 위한 외장을 더 포함하며, 상기 외장은 접착성 소자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테 나.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 접착성 소자는 상기 외장을 평평한 면에 부착시키기에 적합한 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,다수의 안테나 소자, 접지면 및 상기 구동회로를 지지하는 다층 회로 기판을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서,다수의 위상 배열 소자를 지지(support)하는 폼 코어(foam core) 기판을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나로서,자체 내에 형성된 접지면과 함께, 제1측면 및 제2측면을 갖는 다층 회로 기판;상기 다층 회로 기판의 제1측면에 부착되고, M × N 배열-여기서, 상기 M, N은 1 보다 큰 정수-의 안테나 소자를 갖는 안테나 배열; 및상기 다층 회로 기판의 제2측면에 부착되고, 입력 마이크로파 신호를 M개의 신호 경로로 분배하는 전력분배기와, M-1 경로에 연결되고 각각의 출력이 안테나 소자와 연결되는 다수의 위상 천이회로를 구비하는 구동회로를 포함하며, 상기 M개의 신호 경로들 가운데 하나의 경로가 직접 안테나 소자에 연결되는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 M은 5이고, 상기 N은 8인 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 전력분배기는, M개의 신호 경로 각각에서 감쇠를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 위상 천이 회로는 제어신호에 응답하며, M-1 경로의 상기 신호들을 개별적인 위상 양 만큼 위상 천이시키는 스위치형 혼합 커플러를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제16항에 있어서,상기 개별적인 위상 천이는, -90도, 0도, 및 +90도 가운데 적어도 하나인 것 을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제17항에 있어서,상기 개별적인 위상 천이는, 배열에 의해 형성된 방사 패턴의 주 빔이 0도, +45도 및 -45도로 향하게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서,모뎀 회로와 송수신기 회로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 그물형 네트워크와의 통신용 안테나.
