Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- 복수개의 화소를 이용하여 이미지를 표현하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조에 있어서,상기 복수개의 화소는 각각 적어도 6개의 부화소(sub-pixel)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 복수개의 화소는 각각 6각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 부화소는 삼각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 복수개의 화소 중 선택된 제1 화소와 상기 제1 화소에 인접한 제2 화소는 회전 대칭을 이룬 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 및 제2 화소는 60°의 회전 대칭을 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 6개의 부화소 각각은 3개의 원색(primary color) 중 하나를 표시하되, 상기 6개의 부화소는 상기 6개의 부화소 중 선택된 제1 부화소가 표시하는 색과 상기 제1 부화소에 인접한 제2 부화소가 표시하는 색이 다르도록 배열된 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 복수개의 화소 중 선택된 제1 화소와 상기 제1 화소에 인접한 제2 화소는 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 6개의 부화소는 각각 서로 다른 색을 표시하도록 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 복수의 화소는 각각 7개의 부화소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 7개의 부화소는 각각 육각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 7개의 부화소는 6개의 부화소가 1개의 부화소를 둘러싼 형태로 배열된 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 7개의 부화소는 각각 서로 다른 색을 표시하도록 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 평면표시장치의 화소구조.
