Claims (3)
- 복수의 기본 셀을 포함하는 디스플레이 패널 상에 비디오 이미지를 디스플레이하는 방법으로서, 각 비디오 이미지는, 각 기본 셀이 온 또는 오프 상태에 있는 복수의 서브스캔에 따라 코딩되고, 각 서브스캔은 조명 기간의 지속 기간에 비례하는 가중치(weight)를 갖는, 디스플레이 패널 상에 비디오 이미지를 디스플레이하는 방법으로서,각 비디오 이미지에 대해,- 상기 복수의 서브스캔이, 시간 분배가 대칭적인 대응하는 가중치의 동일한 수의 서브스캔을 갖는 서브스캔의 2개의 연속적인 그룹으로 분리되는 단계와;- 이전 비디오 이미지에 대해 디스플레이될 상기 비디오 이미지의 움직임이 상기 비디오 이미지의 각 픽셀에 대한 움직임 벡터를 생성하도록 추정되는 단계와;- 상기 비디오 이미지의 각 픽셀에 대해, 상기 제 2 그룹의 서브스캔이 상기 추정된 움직임 벡터의 절반에 대략 해당하는 양만큼 변위되는 단계를수행하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 패널 상에 비디오 이미지를 디스플레이하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 그룹의 서브스캔은 가중치의 오름차순으로 배열되고, 상기 제 2 그룹의 서브스캔은 가중치의 내림차순으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 디스플레이 패널 상에 비디오 이미지를 디스플레이하는 방법.
- 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널로서,제 1항 또는 제 2항에 기재된 디스플레이 방법을 구현하는 디바이스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널.
