Claims (7)
- 적색(R), 녹색(G), 청색(B) 컬러필터가 구비된 컬러필터 기판과; 상기 컬러 필터에 대응하는 적색(R), 녹색(G), 청색(B) 화소의 액정 셀들이 액티브 매트릭스 형태로 배열되며, 각각의 액정 셀에 박막트랜지스터가 구비된 박막트랜지스터 어레이 기판과; 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 어레이 기판 하부에 적색(R), 녹색(G), 청색(B) 컬러필터와 동일하게 배치된 적(R), 녹(G), 청(B) 색상의 발광소자가 광원으로 구성된 백라이트부로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 컬러필터 기판과 박막트랜지스터 어레이 기판 사이에 충진된 액정층을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 백라이트부는 주기적인 "V" 굴곡으로 형성된 반사판과, 상기 반사판의 "V" 굴곡 내부에 형성된 광원과, 상기 광원과 소정간격 이격되어 광원 상부에 설치되어 광원에서 발산된 빛을 확산시켜 컬러필터가 형성된 상부로 보내는 확산판으로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 광원은 EL(electro luminescence) 또는 LED(light emitting diode)등의 발광소자 인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 발광소자는 스트립 배열인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 발광소자는 모자이크 배열인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 발광소자는 델타 배열인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
