Abstract
Description
The present invention proposes a filter configuration for an air cleaner that is widely used to prevent various physiological-pathological phenomena caused by pollution of the atmospheric environment. Currently, the air cleaning method generally used uses various filters or negative ion generating devices. The problems caused by the structural limitations of the existing filters make it possible to remove air pollutants with high capacity and high energy efficiency using water filters.
The present invention is to devise a filter for maximizing the surface formation of water to create a substrate structure that causes the air containing environmental pollutants to the maximum effective collision with water to efficiently remove the contaminants dissolved in the water film.
1 is a structure of a water filter for air cleaning.
Air cleaning filters using water show excellent cleaning efficiency as the surface area of water collides with environmental pollutants. Since the surface area of water is highly dependent on the structure of the substrate, it can be easily solved by attaching a plurality of protrusions to the surface of the substrate made of hydrophilic material such as PVA to allow it to function by capillary action.
Advantages of the water filter devised by the present invention are as follows.
1. Since the atmosphere containing gaseous environmental pollutants in the water film is simply used as a collision-diffusion method, there are no filter membranes that act as a resistance to the flow of air when using ordinary filters. It is possible to filter structure, which can save the air cleaner.
2. The increase of the surface area of water can be easily solved by installing protrusions on the substrate of hydrophilic material, which can improve the air cleaning efficiency.
3. It is eco-friendly because it uses water to generate clean air.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. These drawings are only for illustrating the present invention, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the scope of the present invention is not limited by them.
1 is a structure of an air cleaning water filter, the outer one of which consists of an air inlet 6 and an outlet 12 of clean air. Inside there is a substrate 2 of hydrophilic material such as PVA to maximize the surface area of the water film. Substrate 2 has small micropores that can function as water moves easily. The presence of the projections 8 on the surface 7 of the substrate increases the surface area of the water by several times, thereby causing effective collisions and generating vortices to increase the diffusion of environmental pollutant gas components. The function of the projection 8 is easily caused by the water molecules capillary phenomenon. Multiple substrates 9,10,11 can be placed repeatedly to increase the surface of the added function, maximizing the area where incoming air is in contact with water to increase the removal efficiency of contaminants. Environmental contaminants entering the water at the surface of the substrate with the air through the air inlet 6 fall under the filter with water molecules through collision-diffusion, and only clean air travels parallel to the water membrane and exits the outlet 12. Air passages 3, 4, and 5 were placed on top and bottom of substrate 2 to maintain the air flow continuously so that there was no resistance to the air flow. Above the substrate 2, a tube 13, 14, 15 for supplying external water to the substrate was disposed by using a circulation pump or the like to continuously water the substrate 2.
As described above in detail and proved with respect to the present invention using a filter using water can generate air clean with high efficiency.
