Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is an air cleaner with a water filter instead of conventional dry filter, wherein fine dust, volatile organic compound (VOC) and hazardous substances in air are removed by being collided with water molecular or diffused into the water filter. CONSTITUTION: The air cleaner comprises a plurality of porous hydrophilic substrates(2,9,10,11) with respective surfaces(7), each surface with a plurality of cilia(8) thereon, in which water molecular is filled by capillary phenomenon; an air inlet(6) formed through an outermost porous hydrophilic substrate(2); a clean air outlet(12) formed through an opposite outermost porous hydrophilic substrate(11); and a plurality of water supply tubes(13,14,15) for supplying water to the porous hydrophilic substrates(2,9,10,11), wherein pollutants in air are removed by being collided with water molecular and diffused in the cilia(8) on the surface(7) of the hydrophilic substrates.

본 발명은 대기 환경의 오염으로 인해 발생하는 각종 생리-병리적 현상을 예방하기 위해 널리 사용되는 공기청정기용 필터 구성을 제안한다. 현재 일반적으로 사용되는 공기 청정 방식은 각종 필터들이나 음이온 발생 장치들을 사용하는 것이 일반적이다. 기존 필터들의 구조적인 한계로 인해 발생하는 문제점들을 물을 이용한 필터를 이용하면 고용량-고에너지 효율로 대기 중 오염물들의 제거가 가능하게 한다.The present invention proposes a filter configuration for an air cleaner that is widely used to prevent various physiological-pathological phenomena caused by pollution of the atmospheric environment.
