Abstract

본 발명은 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 기능의 구현에 있어서 음성암호를 입력하도록 하여 비밀 번호를 일일이 입력하지 않고도 단말기의 잠금 기능을 사용할 수 있도록 한 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 이러한 본 발명은 단말기의 잠금 기능 설정을 위하여 사용자가 미리 입력해놓은 음성 및 사용자가 단말기의 사용을 시도할 때 사용자의 음성을 확인하기 위한 안내메시지를 저장하는 보이스롬(Voice ROM)과, 사용자가 단말기 사용을 위해 음성을 입력하면, 그 입력음성과 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 사용자의 음성을 비교하여 동일 여부를 판별하는 음성판별부와, 상기 보이스롬을 제어하여 사용자의 음성을 확인하는 안내메시지를 송출하고, 상기 음성판별부의 판별 결과에 따라 단말기의 잠금을 해제하거나, 단말기의 잠금 설정을 유지하는 MSM을 구비하여 사용자가 단말기 사용을 시도할 때 음성암호 입력을 요구하고, 입력한 음성암호가 보이스롬에 저장된 사용자의 음성암호와 동일한 경우에만 단말기 사용을 허용하도록 하여 비밀번호 입력 없이 음성 입력만으로 간단하게 단말기의 잠금 기능을 사용할 수 있게 한다.

Description

음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치 및 방법{Method for locking mobile station using voice recognition}
본 발명은 이동통신 시스템의 단말기에 관한 것으로서 보다 상세하게는 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 기능의 구현에 있어서 음성암호를 입력하도록 하여 비밀 번호를 일일이 입력하지 않고도 단말기의 잠금 기능을 사용할 수 있도록 한 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 이동통신 시스템은, 사람, 자동차, 선박, 열차, 항공기 등 이동체를 대상으로 하는 통신 시스템으로, 이에는 이동전화(휴대전화, 차량전화), 항만전화, 항공기전화, 이동공중전화(열차, 유람선, 고속버스 등에 설치), 무선호출, 무선전화, 위성이동통신, 아마추어무선, 어업무선 등이 포함된다.
이러한 이동통신에는 아날로그 방식을 사용하는 AMPS(Advanced Mobile Phone Service)시스템, 디지털 방식을 사용하는 CDMA 및 TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access, 시분할 다원 접속)시스템, FDMA(Frequency Division Multiple Access, 주파수 분할 다원 접속)시스템 등이 있고, PCS(Personal Communication System, 개인 휴대통신)와 IMT-2000(International Mobile Telecommunication in the year 2000, 범세계 이동통신)등의 시스템이 사용되고 있다.
도 1은 일반적인 이동통신 시스템의 블록 구성도이다.
이에 도시된 바와 같이, 가입자의 통화로를 구성하며 타 통신망과의 접속을 수행하는 교환기(1)와, 상기 교환기(1)와 연결되고, 무선링크 및 유선링크를 제어하며 가입자가 이동중에도 통화의 지속성을 유지시키기 위한 핸드오프 기능을 수행하는 제어국(2)과, 상기 제어국(2)과 연결되고, 단말기(4)와 함께 무선구간에서 프로토콜을 이용하여 통신을 수행하는 기지국(3)과, 상기 기지국(3)과 무선으로 연결되고 가입자가 이동통신망을 통해 통신을 할 수 있도록 하는 단말장치인 단말기(4)로 구성된다.
상기한 이동통신 시스템의 단말기(4)는 사용자의 개인 정보 유출을 방지하고 다른 사람이 상기 단말기를 사용할 수 없도록 하는 단말기 잠금 기능을 가지고 있다.
그러나, 상기와 같은 종래 기술에 의한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 기능은 통상 비밀 번호 입력에 의한 방식을 취하고 있어 잠금 상태를 해제해놓은 상태에서 단말기를 분실하였을 때는 타인이 사용할 수 있는 단점이 있다.
또한, 상기한 비밀 번호 입력에 의한 단말기 잠금 기능은 단말기 사용자가 단말기를 사용할 때마다 일일이 비밀 번호를 입력해야 하는 문제점이 있다.
따라서 본 발명은 상기한 종래 기술에 따른 제반 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 제안된 것으로서,
본 발명의 목적은 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 기능의 구현에 있어서 음성암호를 입력하도록 하여 미리 녹음되어 저장된 사용자의 음성암호와 비교해서 동일 음성일 경우에만 단말기 사용을 허용함으로써, 비밀 번호를 일일이 입력하지 않고도 단말기의 잠금 기능을 사용할 수 있도록 한 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치 및 방법을 제공함에 있다.
상기한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치의 특징은,
MSM, RF인터페이스부, SBI를 구비한 이동통신 단말기에 있어서,
상기 단말기의 잠금 기능 설정을 위하여 사용자가 미리 입력해놓은 음성 및 사용자가 단말기의 사용을 시도할 때 사용자의 음성을 확인하기 위한 안내메시지를 저장하는 보이스롬(Voice ROM)과;
사용자가 단말기 사용을 위해 음성을 입력하면, 그 입력음성과 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 사용자의 음성을 비교하여 동일 여부를 판별하는 음성판별부와;
상기 보이스롬을 제어하여 사용자의 음성을 확인하는 안내메시지를 송출하고, 상기 음성판별부의 판별 결과에 따라 단말기의 잠금을 해제하거나, 단말기의 잠금 설정을 유지하는 MSM을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 한다.
또한 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 방법의 특징은,
사용자가 단말기에 자신의 음성을 녹음하여 단말기의 잠금 기능을 설정해놓은 상태에서 단말기의 사용을 시도하면 단말기 내부의 MSM에서 보이스롬에 저장된 안내방송 메시지를 송출하여 음성암호 입력을 요구하는 제 1단계와;
사용자가 단말기에 음성암호를 입력하면 상기 입력한 음성암호와 단말기 내부의 보이스롬에 저장된 사용자의 음성암호의 동일여부를 판단하는 제 2 단계와;
상기 판단결과, 단말기에 입력한 음성암호가 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호와 동일할 경우 잠금 설정을 해제하여 단말기 서비스를 제공한 후 상기 단말기의 사용이 종료되면 다시 잠금 상태로 전환하는 제 3단계와;
상기 제 2단계의 판단결과, 단말기에 입력한 음성암호가 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호와 동일하지 않을 경우, 상기 보이스롬(Voice ROM)에 저장된 안내메시지를 송출하여 음성암호를 재입력받아 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호의 동일 여부를 다시 판단하는 제 4단계와;
상기 제 4단계의 판단결과, 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호가 동일할 경우, 잠금 설정을 해제하여 단말기 서비스를 제공한 후 상기 단말기의 사용이 종료되면 다시 잠금 상태로 전환하고, 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호가 동일하지 않을 경우 단말기의 사용을 차단하는 제 5단계를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.

이하, 상기와 같은 본 발명 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치 및 방법의 바람직한 실시예를 첨부한 도면에 의거 상세하게 설명하면 다음과 같다.
먼저, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 설명하기에 앞서 본 발명의 전체적인 개념을 간략하게 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 발명은 이동통신 단말기의 음성인식을 이용한 전화걸기 기능을 이용한 것이다. 이동통신 단말기의 사용자가 음성을 미리 녹음해두고 녹음한 음성에 따른 전화번호를 설정해두면 사용자가 일일이 전화번호를 입력하지 않고도 전화기에 상기 녹음한 단어를 음성으로 단말기에 입력하면 단말기에서는 녹음된 음성과 단말기에 입력된 음성을 비교하여 동일한 음성에 설정되어 있는 전화번호를 발신하는것이다.
본 발명에서는 단말기의 잠금 기능을 구현함에 있어서 이러한 종래 기술의 음성인식 기능을 이용한 것이다. 즉, 단말기의 사용자는 단말기의 잠금 기능을 설정할 때 비밀번호를 입력하지 않고 자신의 음성을 입력함으로써 단말기 기능에 잠금 기능을 설정하는 것이다.
그러면, 단말기를 사용할 때 단말기에서는 비밀번호입력을 요구하는 것이 아니라 음성 입력을 비밀번호로써 요구하고, 입력된 음성과 미리 녹음된 사용자의 음성을 비교하여 주파수 특성이 일치하는 경우에만 상기 사용자의 음성으로 판단, 잠금을 해제하는 것이다.
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치의 구성 블록도이다.
도시된 바와 같이, 상기 안테나(10)로부터 무선 채널을 통하여 송수신 데이터를 처리하는 RF부(11)와, 상기 RF부(11)와 연결되어 상기 RF부의 제어에 의하여 정합기능을 수행하는 RF 인터페이스부(12)와, 상기 RF부(11)와 연결되어 아날로그 신호를 디지털 신호로 변환하는 기능을 수행하는 ADC부(14)와 상기 RF부(11)와 연결되어 RF부의 구성소자를 제어하는 SBI(Serial Bus Interface)부(16)와, 사용자에게 안내하는 음성안내 메시지와 사용자가 단말기의 잠금 기능을 위하여 미리 녹음한 음성을 저장하는 보이스롬(Voice ROM)(16)과, 단말기의 잠금 기능 제공을 위하여 상기 단말기에 입력된 음성과 상기 보이스롬(17)에 저장된 음성의 동일 여부를 판별하는 음성판별부(17)와, 사용자에게 안내메시지를 전달하는 스피커(20) 및 상기 사용자의 음성을 입력받는 마이크(21)로 구성되어 있다.
상기와 같이 구성된 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치의 동작을 설명하면 다음과 같다.
상기 사용자가 단말기의 잠금 기능을 설정하는 경우는 개인정보 보호, 발신제한, 또는 특정 기능을 사용제한 등의 이유가 있다. 이러한 경우 사용자는 본 발명에 의하여 단말기메뉴의 잠금 기능을 설정하게 되고, 이때 종래의 기술에서는 비밀 번호를 입력하게 되지만 본 발명에 의하여 비밀 번호 입력대신 사용자의 음성 암호를 입력하게 된다. 가령, 사용자가 "단말기"라는 음성암호를 입력하게 되면 그 음성은 단말기의 보이스롬에 저장된다.
그리고 나서, 단말기의 사용자 또는 타 사용자가 상기 음성암호가 입력된 단말기의 사용이나 발신을 시도하면 상기 단말기의 MSM(13)은 이를 감지하여 상기 보이스롬(16)에 저장되어 있는 음성안내 메시지를 송출, 음성암호 입력을 요구하게 된다.
상기 음성안내 메시지에 따라 음성 암호를 입력하면 상기 음성판별부(17)에서는 입력한 음성암호의 주파수 특성을 상기 보이스롬(16)에 저장된 음성암호와 비교하여 동일 음성 여부를 판단하여 그 결과를 상기 MSM(13)에게 전달한다. 이 음성판별은 입력한 단어의 동일성을 판별하는 것이 아니라 음성의 주파수특성을 판별하는 것이므로 동일한 단어를 입력하더라도 동일인이 아니면 음성암호는 거부된다.
상기 음성암호가 받아들여진 경우 MSM은 단말기 잠금을 해제하여 단말기의 사용 및 발신을 허용하고 음성암호가 거부된 경우, 즉 입력된 음성암호가 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호와 동일하지 않을 경우 MSM은 단말기 사용을 차단하게 된다.
여기서, 음성암호가 일치하여 단말기 잠금이 풀린 경우 단말기의 사용이 종료된 후에는 자동으로 잠금 장치가 재설정된다. 단, 단말기의 잠금이 풀린 상태에서 단말기 잠금 메뉴를 해제하면 단말기 잠금 기능은 해제 모드로 전환된다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 방법을 보인 플로우챠트이다.
상기 도 3에서 사용자는 단말기에 미리 음성암호를 입력하여 단말기를 잠금 상태로 설정해 놓았다고 가정한다. 단말기의 잠금 설정은 메뉴선택과 음성 입력으로 이루어지므로 본 발명에서는 설명을 생략한다.
먼저, 음성암호가 저장되어 단말기가 잠금 상태로 설정된 상태에서 사용자가 단말기의 사용을 시도한다(S11).
그러면, 단말기의 MSM은 이를 감지하여 단말기 내부의 보이스롬에 저장되어 있는 안내메시지를 송출하여 음성암호 입력을 요구한다(S13).
사용자가 단말기에 음성암호를 입력하면 상기 입력한 음성암호를 단말기 내부의 보이스롬에 저장된 사용자의 음성암호와 비교하여 동일한 음성인지 여부를 판단한다(S15).
상기 판단결과, 단말기에 입력한 음성암호가 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호와 동일한 음성일 경우 잠금 설정을 해제하여 단말기 서비스를 제공한 후(S17), 상기 단말기의 사용이 종료되면 다시 잠금 상태로 전환한다(S19).
상기 S15단계의 판단결과, 단말기에 입력한 음성암호가 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호와 동일하지 않은 음성일 경우, 상기 보이스롬(Voice ROM)에 저장된 안내메시지를 송출하여 음성암호 재입력을 요구하여(S21), 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호의 동일 여부를 다시 판단한다(S23).
상기 S23단계의 판단결과, 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호가 동일할 경우, 잠금 설정을 해제하여 단말기 서비스를 제공한 후(S17), 상기 단말기의 사용이 종료되면 다시 잠금 상태로 전환하고(S19), 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호가 동일하지 않을 경우 단말기의 사용을 차단한다(S25).
상기한 바와 같은 본 발명에 따른 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치 및 방법은 잠금 기능을 설정한 단말기를 사용할 때마다 일일이 비밀 번호를 입력하지 않고 간단히 음성암호를 입력하는 것만으로도 단말기의 잠금 기능을 사용할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
또한, 비밀번호가 숫자입력이 아닌 음성입력에 의한 잠금 방식이므로 비밀번호 관리의 번거로움을 해소한 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. MSM, RF인터페이스부, SBI를 구비한 이동통신 단말기에 있어서,
    상기 단말기의 잠금 기능 설정을 위하여 사용자가 미리 입력해놓은 음성 및 사용자가 단말기의 사용을 시도할 때 사용자의 음성을 확인하기 위한 안내메시지를 저장하는 보이스롬(Voice ROM)과;
    사용자가 단말기 사용을 위해 음성을 입력하면, 그 입력음성과 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 사용자의 음성을 비교하여 동일 여부를 판별하는 음성판별부와;
    상기 보이스롬을 제어하여 사용자의 음성을 확인하는 안내메시지를 송출하고, 상기 음성판별부의 판별 결과에 따라 단말기의 잠금을 해제하거나, 단말기의 잠금 설정을 유지하는 MSM을 포함하여 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 장치.
  2. 사용자가 단말기에 자신의 음성을 녹음하여 단말기의 잠금 기능을 설정해놓은 상태에서 단말기의 사용을 시도하면 단말기 내부의 MSM에서 보이스롬에 저장된 안내방송 메시지를 송출하여 음성암호 입력을 요구하는 제 1단계와;
    사용자가 단말기에 음성암호를 입력하면 상기 입력한 음성암호와 단말기 내부의 보이스롬에 저장된 사용자의 음성암호의 동일여부를 판단하는 제 2 단계와;
    상기 판단결과, 단말기에 입력한 음성암호가 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호와 동일할 경우 잠금 설정을 해제하여 단말기 서비스를 제공한 후 상기 단말기의 사용이 종료되면 다시 잠금 상태로 전환하는 제 3단계와;
    상기 제 2단계의 판단결과, 단말기에 입력한 음성암호가 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호와 동일하지 않을 경우, 상기 보이스롬(Voice ROM)에 저장된 안내메시지를 송출하여 음성암호를 재입력받아 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호의 동일 여부를 다시 판단하는 제 4단계와;
    상기 제 4단계의 판단결과, 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호가 동일할 경우, 잠금 설정을 해제하여 단말기 서비스를 제공한 후 상기 단말기의 사용이 종료되면 다시 잠금 상태로 전환하고, 상기 재입력한 음성암호와 상기 보이스롬에 저장된 음성암호가 동일하지 않을 경우 단말기의 사용을 차단하는 제 5단계를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 음성인식을 이용한 이동통신 단말기의 잠금 방법.
