현재 화학비료의 과다 사용과 이로인한 농약의 과다 살포등으로 인하여 우리나라 농토는 병들어 가고 또한 산성화 되어가고 있다. 현재 개발되어진 가축분 발효퇴비는 동절기 하우스내에서 사용시 가스발생으로 인하여 농작물에 피해를 주고 있으며, 이로 인하여 겨울철 하우스내 작업량이 많은 농가에서 사용이 불가한 상태이나, 맥반석 발효퇴비는 가스발생이 없으므로 동절기 사용이 가능하며, 맥반석과 골분을 첨가하고 가축분의 함량을 줄여 토양의 산성화를 방지하여 농약과 비료의 사용을 획기적으로 줄일수 있으며 또한 현재 수거중인 영업용 식당에서의 잔반의 염분 함량이 1%이상인 것을 1% 이내로 떨어뜨리는 기술을 개발함으로 음식물 쓰레기 수거 및 절감에 크게 기여할수 있다.At present, due to the overuse of chemical fertilizer and the overspreading of pesticides, the agricultural land of our country is getting sick and acidified.
