Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for processing salt and pottery is provided. Thereby, salt, which is advantageous to a human body and useful in specific application such as brushing teeth, is produced as removing harmful materials from crude salts. CONSTITUTION: A processing method of salt and pottery comprises the steps of: firing a pottery containing salt with desired water to dissolve the salt within a firing furnace for determined period; and glazing the obtained pottery and then firing again. After the second firing process, the product should be under a third firing process by adding salt and water to the second product. As a result, the pottery contains fired salt free from impurity and has greater strength than the prior process. The processed salt is useful in a human body such as table salt and/or brushing teeth.
