Abstract

기억정보의 복제방지나 기밀유지 등의 능력을 높인 디스크 등의 기억매체와 그 관리방법을 제공한다. 정보를 기억하는 디스크부(3)와 정보를 처리하는 전자회로부(2)를 가지는 인텔리전트 디스크(1)로서, 상기 전자회로부(2)에는 제조시에 식별정보를 바꿔쓰기 불가능하게 기억하는 ID용 ROM(24)을 가지고, 제조시에, 상기 전자회로부(2)에 식별정보를 바꿔쓰기 불가능하게 기억시키고, 발행시에, 상기 디스크부(3) 및/또는 상기 전자회로부(2)에 바꿔쓰기 가능하게 암호번호 및/또는 디지털 서명을 기억시켜, 상기 식별정보 및 상기 암호번호 및/또는 디지털 서명에 의해 상기 기억매체의 인증을 행한다.

Description

전자회로를 가지는 기억매체와 그 관리방법{STORAGE MEDIA HAVING ELECTRONIC CIRCUITS AND MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREOF}
종래의 기억매체, 특히 디스크 등에 기억된 데이터, 프로그램의 복제방지나 기밀유지를 위해서는, 정보기억시에 그를 위한 데이터를 디스크면 상에 기억하는 것이나, 카트리지 부착의 경우에는 카트리지 상에 메모리나 CPU를 탑재하여, ID 등을 기억시켜 두는 것 등을 생각할 수 있다.
그러나, 금후 디스크가 소형화되어 카드형상으로 되고, 크레디트 카드나 전자 지갑 등에 사용되게 되면, 복제방지나 기밀유지가 보다 중요하게 되므로, 상기와 같은 방법으로는 적합하지 않다.
본 발명은 전자회로를 가지는 기억매체와 그 관리방법에 관한 것이다.
도 1은, 본 실시예에서 사용되는 ID의 외관을 도시한 도면이다.
도 2는, 본 실시예에서 사용되는 ID의 구성예를 도시한 도면이다.
도 3은, 본 실시예의 ID 관리순서의 일예를 도시한 플로우차트이다.
본 발명은, 상기 종래의 결점을 제거하고, 기억정보의 복제방지나 기밀유지 등의 능력을 높인 디스크 등의 기억매체와 그 관리방법을 제공한다.
이 과제를 해결하기 위하여, 본 발명의 기억매체는, 정보를 기억하는 정보기억부와 정보를 처리하는 전자회로부를 가지는 기억매체로서, 상기 전자회로부는 제조시에 식별정보를 바꿔쓰기 불가능하게 기억하는 기억수단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 여기서, 상기 정보기억부 및/또는 상기 전자회로부에는 바꿔쓰기 가능하게 암호번호나 디지털 서명이 기억되어 있다. 또한, 상기 기억매체는 광디스크이다.
또한, 본 발명의 기억매체의 관리방법은, 정보를 기억하는 정보기억부와 정보를 처리하는 전자회로부를 가지는 기억매체의 관리방법으로서, 제조시에, 상기 전자회로부에 식별정보를 바꿔쓰기 불가능하게 기억하고, 발행시에, 상기 정보기억부 및/또는 상기 전자회로부에 바꿔쓰기 가능하게 암호번호 및/또는 디지털 서명을 기억하고, 상기 식별정보 및 상기 암호번호 및/또는 디지털 서명에 의해 상기 기억매체의 인증을 행하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 여기서, 상기 기억매체는 다기능의 스마트 카드로서 사용된다. 또한, 상기 기억매체는 광디스크이다.
본 발명에 의해, 기억정보의 복제방지나 기밀유지 등의 능력을 높인 디스크 등의 기억매체와 그 관리방법을 제공할 수 있다.
본 발명을 보다 상세히 설명하기 위하여, 첨부도면에 따라 본 발명의 일 실시예인 전자회로를 가지는 기억매체(이하, 인텔리전트 디스크(20)라 한다)를 예로 설명한다.
〈본 실시예의 ID의 구성예〉
도 1은, 본 실시예의 ID의 일종인 인텔리전트 광디스크의 외관도이다.
ID(1)는, 정보를 기억하는 디스크면인 디스크부(3)와, 예컨대 도 1과 같이, 그 중앙부에 탑재된 인텔리전트 회로부(2)로 이루어진다. 여기서, 도 1에서는 회로부(2)를 디스크의 중앙부에 배치했지만, 디스크의 한 면을 전유하거나, 복수층으로 디스크를 제조하고 그중의 층에 배열하는 등, 그 배치에는 특히 한정은 없다.
도 2는 ID(1)의 구성 개념을 도시한 도면이다.
도면 중, 상기 인텔리전트 회로부(2)는, 고정정보를 기억하는 ROM(22)과, 필요하다면 또한 일시 기억장소로서의 RAM(23)과, ROM(22)이나 RAM(23)에 저장된 프로그램을 실행하는 CPU(21)를 포함하고 있다. ID측이 독립하여 전원을 가지는 경우에 필요한 광전지가 있어도 좋다.
인텔리전트 회로부(2)는, 시스템 인터페이스(25)를 통하여, 외부장치와 정보를 주고받는다. 인터페이스의 접점은, 접촉형이거나 비접촉형이어도 좋고, 또는 버스결합이어도 통신결합이어도 좋다. 통신으로서는, 전파통신이나 광통신 등을 생각할 수 있다.
또한, 회로부(2)에는, 제조·출하시에 고유 ID를 기입하는 ID용 ROM(24)이 부가되어 있다. 이 ID용 ROM(24)으로서는, 퓨즈회로나 커패시터 회로 등의 파괴형 ROM이 이후의 개찬(改竄)을 막기에 좋다.
〈본 실시예의 ID의 관리예〉
도 3은, 본 실시예의 ID의 관리순서를 도시한 도면이다.
먼저, 단계 S31에서 ID의 제조·출하시에 ID용 ROM(24)에 고유 ID가 기입된다.
다음으로, 단계 S32에서는 출하된 ID가 발행(판매)되는 경우에, 발행회사에 의해 디지털 서명이 디스크부(3), 또는 ROM(22), RAM(23)에 기입됨과 동시에, 사용자의 암호번호도 기입된다. 보통, 기입은, ID의 사용목적에 따라, 디지털 서명이나 암호번호중 어느 하나여도 좋다.
발행된 ID를 사용하는(디스크부(3)의 정보를 읽는) 경우는, 단계 S33에서 제조·출하시의 고유 ID와 발행시의 디지털 서명 및/또는 암호번호에 의해, ID의 인증과 사용자의 인증이 행해진다.
인증되면, 단계 S34로 진행하여 ID의 사용이 허가되지만, 인증되지 않으면, 단계 S35로 진행하여 ID의 사용은 허가되지 않게 된다.
한편, 상기 고유 ID는, 단순히 인증용으로 사용될 뿐만 아니라, 디스크부(3)에 기억된 정보의 암호화 키로서도 사용가능하고, 이렇게 하면 기억정보의 기밀유지가 더욱 높아지게 된다.
이상, 본 발명을 바람직한 실시예에 의해 설명했지만, 본 발명은 상술한 실시예로 한정되는 것은 아니고, 청구의 범위에 기재된 범위 내에서, 다양한 변형, 추가, 수식이 가능하다.

Claims (6)

  1. 정보를 기억하는 정보기억부와 정보를 처리하는 전자회로부를 가지는 기억매체로서,
    상기 전자회로부는 제조시에 식별정보를 바꿔쓰기 불가능하게 기억하는 기억수단을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 기억매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 정보기억부 및/또는 상기 전자회로부에는 바꿔쓰기 가능하게 암호번호나 디지털 서명이 기억되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 기억매체.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기억매체는 광디스크인 것을 특징으로 하는 기억매체.
  4. 정보를 기억하는 정보기억부와 정보를 처리하는 전자회로부를 가지는 기억매체의 관리방법으로서,
    제조시에, 상기 전자회로부에 식별정보를 바꿔쓰기 불가능하게 기억하고,
    발행시에, 상기 정보기억부 및/또는 상기 전자회로부에 바꿔쓰기 가능하게 암호번호 및/또는 디지털 서명을 기억하고,
    상기 식별정보 및 상기 암호번호 및/또는 디지털 서명에 의해 상기 기억매체의 인증을 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기억매체의 관리방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 기억매체는 다기능의 스마트 카드로서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기억매체의 관리방법.
  6. 제4항 또는 제5항에 있어서, 상기 기억매체는 광디스크인 것을 특징으로 하는 기억매체의 관리방법.
