Claims (28)
- 터빈 블레이드의 일부에 대한 내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금(hardface alloy)의 접합 방법에 있어서,용접 합금의 얇은 포일을 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부의 결합면 위로 배치하는 단계와,소망하는 두께보다 두꺼운 경화 덧붙임 합금을 상기 포일 위에 배치함으로써, 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부와 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금 사이에 상기 포일을 개재시키는 단계와,상기 터빈 블레이드, 포일 및 경화 덧붙임 합금의 일부를 상기 포일이 용융되기에 충분한 주기동안 가열하고, 또 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금을 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부에 접합하는 단계와,상기 소망하는 두께보다 두꺼운 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금을 소망하는 작은 두께로 감소시키도록 기계가공하는 단계를 포함하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.

- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 포일은 13 중량%의 크롬, 4 중량%의 철, 2.8 중량%의 붕소, 4 중량%의 규소 그리고 나머지는 니켈을 실질적으로 포함하는 니켈계 합금으로 구성되는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 포일은 19 중량%의 크롬, 1.5 중량%의 붕소, 0.08 중량%의탄소, 7.3 중량%의 규소 그리고 나머지는 니켈을 실질적으로 포함하는 니켈계 합금으로 구성되는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 경화 덧붙임 합금 및 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부 중간의 위치에서 파우더형 금속 합금을 더 포함하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 파우더형 금속 합금을 추가하는 단계는 패이스트 용접 합금의 비드를 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금과 가열하기 전의 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부 사이에서 적어도 하나의 노출된 조인트 인터페이스 위에 추가하는 단계를 포함하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 파우더형 금속 합금은 10 중량%의 코발트, 8.3 중량%의 크롬, 5.5 중량%의 알루미늄, 1.0 중량%의 티타늄, 3.0 중량%의 탄탈, 0.7 중량%의 몰리브덴, 10 중량%의 텅스텐, 1.5 중량%의 하프늄, 0.14 중량%의 탄소, 0.015 중량%의 붕소 그리고 나머지는 니켈을 실질적으로 포함하는 니켈계 합금으로 구성되는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 파우더형 금속 합금은 22 중량%의 코발트, 15 중량%의 크롬, 2.8 중량%의 붕소, 3.5 중량%의 규소 그리고 나머지는 니켈을 실질적으로 포함하는 니켈계 합금으로 구성되는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 파우더형 금속 합금은 청구항 7에서 청구된 합금의 약 60 중량%와, 청구항 8에서 청구된 합금의 40 중량%로 구성되는 니켈계 합금인내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 파우더형 금속 합금은 17 중량%의 니켈, 19 중량%의 크롬, 4 중량%의 텅스텐, 0.4 중량%의 카본, 0.8 중량%의 붕소, 8 중량%의 규소 그리고 나머지는 코발트를 실질적으로 포함하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 경화 덧붙임 합금을 상기 포일 위로 위치설정한 후에, 경화 덧붙임 합금을 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부에 대해 하나 또는 그 이상 국부적인 위치에서 택 용접(tack-welding)함으로써, 상기 포일을 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금과 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부 사이에 개재된 위치내에서 일시적으로 고정시키는 단계를 더 포함하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 포일은 1 내지 5mm 범위내의 두께인내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 가열은 비산화 대기에서 실시되는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 3 항에 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 가열은 상기 결합면과 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금에 형성된 인터페이스로부터 떨어진 상기 포일내에 상기 붕소의 적어도 일부를 확산하기에 충분한 간격의 시간에 걸쳐서 가해지는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 가열은 추가적으로 상기 터빈 블레이드를 위해 적어도 부분적으로 열처리하는 역할을 함으로써, 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금을 터빈 블레이드의 일부에 점착함과 동시에 상기 터빈 블레이드를 부분적인 열처리하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부는 근접한 터빈 블레이드상의 대응하는 표면과 접촉하기에 적합한 슈라우드 터빈 블레이드의 슈라우드상에 편평한 표면을 포함하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,가열될 때 상기 경화 덧붙임 합금에 대해 압력이 가해지는 단계를 더 포함하는내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금의 접합 방법.
- 터빈 블레이드에 있어서,터빈 블레이드의 일부분이 특허청구범위 제 1 항에 청구된 방법에 의해 내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금이 용접되어 있는터빈 블레이드.
- 터빈 블레이드에 있어서,터빈 블레이드는 슈라우드 및 상기 슈라우드내의 노치를 갖고, 상기 노치는 특허청구범위 제 1 항에 청구된 방법에 따라 이것에 가해진 내마모성 경화 덧붙임 합금을 구비하는터빈 블레이드.
- 제조 공차로 터빈 블레이드의 일부를 재생하는 방법에 있어서,상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부를 그라운드 결합면을 형성하도록 그라인딩(grinding)하는 단계와,용접(brazing) 합금의 얇은 포일을 상기 결합면 위에 배치하는 단계와, 경화 덧붙임 재료를 상기 포일 위에 위치설정함으로써, 상기 포일을 상기 결합면과 상기 경화덧붙임 재료 사이에 개재시키는 단계와,상기 용접 합금을 용융하고 또 덧붙임 재료를 상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부에 접합하기 위하여 상기 터빈 블레이드, 포일 및 경화 덧붙임 합금의 일부를 가열하는 단계와,상기 터빈 블레이드의 일부에 부착할 때 소망하는 두께보다 큰 상기 경화 덧붙임 재료를 소망하는 작은 두께로 기계가공하는 단계를 포함하는터빈 블레이드의 일부를 재생하는 방법.
- 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 가열은 일정한 시간 간격에 걸쳐서 가해지는터빈 블레이드의 일부를 재생하는 방법.
- 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 가열은 상기 터빈 블레이드의 열처리의 일부로서 실시되는터빈 블레이드의 일부를 재생하는 방법.
- 터빈 블레이드의 일부에 있어서,블레이드 표면, 포일 및 경화 덮붙임 재료를 포함하는터빈 블레이드의 일부.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 블레이드 표면은 니켈계 초합금인터빈 블레이드의 일부.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 포일은 니켈계 합금인터빈 블레이드의 일부.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 경화 덧붙임 재료는 코발트계 합금인터빈 블레이드의 일부.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 포일은 상기 블레이드 표면과 상기 경화 덧붙임 재료 사이에 개재되는터빈 블레이드의 일부.
- 터빈 블레이드에 있어서,노치를 갖는 슈라우드를 포함하고, 상기 노치의 표면은 용접 합금 포일에 근접하고, 경화 덧붙임 재료는 상기 포일 위에 위치설정되는터빈 블레이드.
