Abstract

본 발명은 급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 종래 급제동시 작동하는 해저드 램프 장치는 턴 시그널 램프가 작동되는 상태에서도 점등됨에 따라 방향지시등의 기능이 소멸하는 문제점이 있었던 바, 차속신호(30)와 브레이크 스위치 신호(20)와 턴 시그널 스위치(40)의 신호를 입력하는 컨트롤 유니트(10)를 설치하고 차속이 기준차속 이상일 경우에 브레이크 스위치가 작동되면 해저드 램프를 점등하기 위한 제어 신호를 플래셔 릴레이(50)에 출력하게 하되, 턴 시그널 스위치(40)의 신호가 온상태일 경우에는 급제동 상태에서도 해저드 램프(60)가 점등되지 않도록 제어되는 컨트롤 유니트(10)의 제어 알골리즘을 예시된 제 3 도의 순서도와 같이 구성하고 급제동시 턴 시그널 램프가 작동중일 경우에는 해저드 램프가 점등않아 방향지시등의 기능이 소멸되지 않게 한 것임.

Description

급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동장치 및 방법
본 발명은 급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서 상세하게는 급제동 신호와 턴 시그널 램프의 점등 상태에 따라 컨트롤 유니트가 해저드 램프를 제어하여 후속 차량에게 급제동의 위험이 전달될 수 있게 한 급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 차량의 해저드 램프와 함은 고장 표시등 또는 비상 점멸등이라 부르기도 하며 특히 자동차가 고장을 일으켜 노상에 주차하고 있을 때 혹은 주행중 전방의 위험 상황을 후속 차량에게 전달하기 위해 점멸하는 램프를 말하며 보통 전후의 양램프 즉 방향지시등으로 사용하는 4개의 램프가 동시에 점멸되게 되어 있는 램프를 말하게 된다.
또한 상기 해저드 램프를 해저드 스위치에 따라 동시 점멸하게 하기 위하여 사용되는 플래셔 릴레이(flasher relay)는 턴 시그널 램프를 점등하여 방향지시등으로 사용하기 위해 한쪽만 점등하는 경우와 차량의 고장 등으로 긴급 정차를 후속 차량에게 알리기 위하여 양쪽 램프를 동시에 점멸시키는 경우(해저드 워닝)에 사용할 수 있는 특징적인 릴레이가 설치되어 있다.
또한 본 발명과 같이 브레이크 스위치를 이용하여 급제동시 해저드 램프를 점등할 수 있게 한 종래 기술은 턴 시그널 램프를 작동한 상태에서 급제동을 할 경우 방향 지시등이 비상등의 기능으로 점등되어 본래의 방향지시등의 기능이 소멸되게 되는 문제를 해소하지 못하였다.
즉, 종래 급제동시 작동되게 되어 있는 해저드 램프장치는 턴 시그널 램프(방향지시등)가 작동되는 상태에서도 점등됨에 따라 방향지시등의 기능은 소멸하게 되는 문제점이 있었다.
이에, 본 발명은 상기와 같은 문제점을 해소하기 위하여 안출한 것으로서, 차속신호를 입력하는 컨트롤 유니트가 급제동 상태를 판단하여 턴 시그널 램프(방향지시등)가 작동중일 경우에는 해저드 램프를 점등하지 않게 하는 장치를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다.

따라서, 본 발명은 차속신호와 턴 시그널 스위치의 신호와 브레이크 스위치의 신호를 입력하는 컨트롤 유니트가 턴 시그널 램프가 작동중일 경우에는 급제동 상태에서도 해저드 램프를 점등하지 않아 방향지시등의 기능이 지속적으로 유지될 수 있게 구성하는 것을 그 특징으로 한다.
상기한 목적을 실현하기 위한 본 발명의 구성에 대하여 예시한 도면을 참조하여 설명하면 다음과 같다.
차속신호(30)와 브레이크 스위치 신호(20)와 턴 시그널 스위치의 신호(40)를 입력하는 컨트롤 유니트(10)를 설치하고, 상기 컨트롤 유니트(10)는 입력되는 신호를 분석하여 차속이 기준 차속 이상이고 브레이크 스위치가 작동될 경우에만 해저드 램프를 점등하기 위한 제어 신호를 플래셔 릴레이(50)에 일정시간 출력하게 하며, 상기 컨트롤 유니트의 입력 단자인 턴 시그널 스위치(40)의 신호가 온 상태가 되어 방향 지시등이 점등 상태일 경우에는 급제동 상태에서도 해저드 램프(60)를 점등하기 위한 제어 신호가 출력되지 않도록 하며, 특히 컨트롤 유니트(10)의 제어 알골리즘은 예시된 도 3 과 같은 순서도로서 방향 지시등이 작동하지 않는 급제동 상태에서는 해저드 램프(60)가 작동되게 하고 턴 시그널 스위치(40)(방향지시 스위치)가 작동중일 경우에는 차속이 기준차속을 넘어 급제동을 하게 되어도 해저드 램프(60)(비상등)는 점등하지 않게 하여 구성한다.
상기한 본 발명의 구성에 대한 작용 및 효과를 설명하면 다음과 같다.
컨트롤 유니트(10)에 입력되는 턴 시그널 스위치(40)는 차량이 주행간 방향지시등의 점등 상태에 대한 정보를 컨트롤 유니트(10)에 입력하게 되며, 상기 컨트롤 유니트(10)는 차속신호(30)와 브레이크 스위치 신호(20)와 턴 시그널 스위치의 신호(40)를 분별하여 인식된 상태에 따라 해저드 램프(60)를 제어하기 위한 제어신호가 출력되는 작용을 하며, 컨트롤 유니트(10)에 입력되는 브레이크 스위치(20)는 입력되는 차속 정보와 함께 차량이 기준차속을 넘어 급제동하게 되는 경우에 컨트롤 유니트(10)는 급제동 상태를 판단하여 제어 신호를 플레셔 릴레이(50)에 출력함으로써 해저드 램프(60)가 작동될 수 있게 하는 작용을 한다.
이와 같이, 본 발명을 이용한 차량은 주행간 급제동을 하게 되면 브레이크 램프와 함께 비상등(60)이 점등되어 후속 차량에게 주의를 강조하게 됨은 물론 방향 지시등이 점등되어 있을 경우에는 급제동 상태에서도 비상등(60)을 점등하지 않아 방향지시등의 기능이 소멸되지 않게 하는 작용을 한다.
따라서, 본 발명이 적용된 자동차는 주행간 급제동시 턴 시그널 램프가 작동중일 경우에는 해저드 램프가 점등되지 않게 함으로써 방향지시등의 기능이 소멸되지 않도록 하여 주행의 위험을 저감하게 하는 이점이 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동 장치에 있어서, 차속신호와 브레이크 스위치의 신호와 턴 시그널 스위치의 신호를 입력하여 차량의 급제동시 턴 시그널 램프가 점등되지 않을 경우에만 제어 신호를 출력하는 컨트롤 유니트와, 상기 컨트롤 유니트로부터 출력되는 제어 신호에 따라 작동되며 턴 시그널 램프를 제어하는 프레셔 릴레이로 구성되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동장치.
  2. 급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동 방법에 있어서, 상기 컨트롤 유니트는 입력되는 신호를 분별하여 턴 시그널 램프가 작동되어 있는지를 판단하는 단계와, 차속을 기준차속과 비교하고 입력되는 브레이크 스위치의 신호를 분석하여 주행간 급제동 상태를 판단하는 단계와, 상기 판단된 급제동 상태에 따라 턴 시그널 램프가 오프되어 있을 경우에만 비상등을 점등하기 위해 제어 신호를 출력하는 제어단계를 포함하여 구성되어짐을 특징으로 하는 급제동시 해저드 램프의 자동 작동방법.
