Abstract

본 고안은 야간 운전시 차량을 정차시키거나 주차시킬 경우 엔진의 정지를 감지하여 차량의 전조등과 차폭등을 자동으로 소등시켜 줌으로써 차량 배터리가 불필요하게 방전되는 것을 방지하는 동시에 차량의 안전운전을 도모할 수 있도록 한 차량의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치에 관한 것으로, 차량의 정차나 주차시 엔진의 정지를 감지하는 엔진 ECU와, 엔진 ECU로부터 엔진의 정지 감지신호를 입력받아 일정 시간 경과후에 전조등을 소등시키기 위한 제어신호와 차폭등을 소등시키기 위한 제어신호를 각각 출력하는 제어기와, 제어기의 제어신호에 따라 전조등을 소등시키는 전조등 점멸부와, 제어기의 제어신호에 따라 차폭등을 소등시키는 차폭등 점멸부로 구성되어 야간 주행시 정차 및 주차가 있는 경우 엔진의 정지를 감지하여 차량의 전조등 및 차폭등을 자동으로 소등시켜 줌으로써 수동 조작에 의한 소등 동작이 필요없게 될 뿐만 아니라 야간 안전 운전을 도모할 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.

Description

차량의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치
본 고안은 야간 운전시 차량을 정차시키거나 주차시킬 경우 엔진의 정지를 감지하여 차량의 전조등과 차폭등을 자동으로 소등시켜 줌으로써 차량 배터리가 불필요하게 방전되는 것을 방지하는 동시에 차량의 안전운전을 도모할 수 있도록 한 차량의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 모든 차량에는 자신의 차량상태를 표시하여 타 차량은 물론 서로의 안전운전을 도모하기 위한 수단의 일부로서 등화장치가 구비되어 있다.
이러한 등화장치에는 차량의 야간 운전시 전방을 밝혀주는 전조등과 후방을 밝혀 주는 후미등, 차량의 진행 방향을 표시하는 좌·우 방향지시등, 차량의 제동상태를 표시하는 제동등, 차량의 후진상태를 표시하는 후진등, 실내를 밝혀주는 실내등, 차량의 폭을 나타내는 차폭등, 차량의 비상상태를 표시하는 비상등 및 안개속에서 안전주행을 위한 안개등 등 많은 표시등이 있다.
상기와 같은 표시등 중에서도 특히 전조등과 차폭등은 주위가 어둡거나 야간에 주로 사용하는 것으로서, 전조등을 하향되게 조절하여 근거리의 전방만을 집중으로 보는 가 하면, 전조등을 상향되게 조절함으로써 원거리까지도 시야를 확장하여 볼 수 있도록 하고 있다.
또한, 차폭등을 통하여 상대 차량의 폭이 어느정도인지를 판단함으로써 차량의 안전운전을 도모하게 된다.
상기 전조등을 점등시킨 채 주행할 경우 상대방 차선이나 자기 차선에 주행하는 차량 운전자에게 시야 부담을 주지 않도록 상대 차량과 마주치게 되는 경우에는 상기 전조등을 일단 소등시킨 후, 차량이 지나가면 다시 전조등을 점등시켜 주행하게 된다.
한편, 운전자의 부주의로 인하여 차량을 정차시키거나 주차시킬 경우 전조등과 차폭등을 소등시키지 않을 때가 종종 있다.
따라서, 전조등과 차폭등이 계속 점등되어 있어 불필요한 배터리의 낭비가 발생하게 되고, 종래 전조등과 차폭등을 소등시키기 위해 일일이 전조등 스위치와 차폭등 스위치를 수동 조작해야 하는 번거로운 문제점이 있었다.
따라서, 본 고안은 상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 안출한 것으로서, 그 목적은 차량의 정차 또는 주차가 이루어질 경우 차량 엔진의 정지를 감지하여 자동으로 전조등과 차폭등을 자동으로 소등시켜 줌으로써 차량의 안전운전을 도모할 수 있도록 한 차량의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치를 제공하는 데에 있다.
이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 고안의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치는 차량 엔진의 정지를 감지하고, 이 감지된 신호를 입력하는 제어기의 제어신호에 따라 일정시간 경과 후에 전조등과 차폭등을 차례로 소등시켜 주도록 함을 특징으로 한다.

도 1은 본 고안의 차량의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치의 블록 구성도로서, 차량의 정차나 주차시 엔진의 정지를 감지하는 엔진 ECU(1)와, 상기 엔진 ECU(1)로부터 엔진의 정지 감지신호를 입력받아 일정 시간 경과후에 전조등을 소등시키기 위한 제어신호와 차폭등을 소등시키기 위한 제어신호를 각각 출력하는 제어기(2)와, 상기 제어기(2)의 제어신호에 따라 전조등(5)을 소등시키는 전조등 점멸부(3)와, 상기 제어기(2)의 제어신호에 따라 차폭등(6)을 소등시키는 차폭등 점멸부(4)로 구성된다.
상기와 같이 구성된 본 고안의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치의 동작을 설명하면 다음과 같다.
먼저, 전조등과 차폭등을 점등시킨 채 야간 주행하는 도중 차량이 정차 또는 주차하거나 차량의 엔진 고장이 발생하는 경우에는 엔진 ECU(1)로부터 엔진이 정지되는 것을 감지하게 된다.
이에 따라, 상기 엔진 ECU(1)는 제어기(2)로 엔진 정지 감지신호를 출력한다.
그러면 상기 제어기(2)는 일정시간 경과된 후에 전조등 점멸부(3)와 차폭등 점멸부(4)로 각각의 소등 제어신호를 출력한다.
이때, 제어기(2)에서 일정시간 기다렸다가 제어신호를 출력하는 이유는 주행중 차량 고장으로 인한 갑작스런 소등인 경우에는 차량 사고를 유발할 수 있기 때문이다.
상기 소등 제어신호를 입력한 전조등 점멸부(3)와 차폭등 점멸부(4)는 각각 전조등(5)과 차폭등(6)을 자동으로 소등시켜 주게 된다.
이때, 상기 제어기(2)는 전조등(5)을 먼저 소등시킨 다음 일정 시간이 지나면 차폭등(6)을 차례로 소등시키게 된다.
이상, 상기에서 설명한 바와 같은 본 고안은, 야간 주행시 차량의 정차 및 주차가 있는 경우 엔진의 정지를 감지하여 차량의 전조등 및 차폭등을 자동으로 소등시켜 줌으로써 수동 조작에 의한 소등 동작이 필요없게 될 뿐만 아니라 야간 안전 운전을 도모할 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.

  1. 차량의 정차나 주차시 엔진의 정지를 감지하는 엔진 ECU(1)와, 상기 엔진 ECU(1)로부터 엔진의 정지 감지신호를 입력받아 일정 시간 경과후에 전조등을 소등시키기 위한 제어신호와 차폭등을 소등시키기 위한 제어신호를 각각 출력하는 제어기(2)와, 상기 제어기(2)의 제어신호에 따라 전조등(5)을 소등시키는 전조등 점멸부(3)와, 상기 제어기(2)의 제어신호에 따라 차폭등(6)을 소등시키는 차폭등 점멸부(4)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 차량의 전조등 및 차폭등 점멸 제어장치.
