Abstract

본 고안은 자동차의 안개등과 브레이크등을 비상등으로 활용하도록 하는 자동차의 안개등 및 브레이크등을 이용한 비상등 구동장치에 관한 것이다.
종래에는 방향지시 등을 비상등과 함께 사용하고 있기 때문에 비상등으로서 작동되고 있는 경우 방향지시등의 기능이 상실되는 문제점이 있었다.
본 고안은 예시도면 제2도에 도시된 바와 같이, 자동차 배터리(30)의 전원공급단에 안개등작동스위치(32)를 매개로 안개등(34,36)이 연결되는 한편 플래셔유니트(38)를 매개로 2단 연동스위치(40)가 연결되고, 상기 2단 연동스위치(40)의 스위치(40a)에는 안개등(34,36)이 연결됨과 더불어 스위치(40b)에는 브레이크등(42,44)이 연결되며, 자동차 배터리(30)와 브레이크등(42,44) 사이에는 브레이크페달에 의해 작동되는 브레이크스위치(46)가 연결되어 이루어진 고안임.

Description

자동차의 안개등 및 브레이크등을 이용한 비상등 구동장치
본 고안은 자동차의 비상등 구동장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 안개등과 브레이크등을 비상등으로 활용하도록 하는 자동차의 안개등 및 브레이크등을 이용한 비상등 구동장치에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 자동차에는 주행중 위급상황 발발시 급정차를 하게 되는 경우 전방이나 후방에서 주행하는 차량에게 비상사태를 알려주어 상호간에 추돌방지를 위한 안전 운전을 유도할 수 있도록 하거나, 도로상에 주정차하고 있게 될 때 다른 자동차와의 충돌을 피하기 위하여 차량의 전후좌우에 설치되는 방향지시등과 보조방향지시등을 점멸시키도록 하는 비상등이 설치되어 있다.
이러한 비상등은 일정 주기를 가지고 점멸되도록 하여 주변의 운전자나 보행자 등에게 경각심을 불어 넣어 주고 있다.
또한 차량의 후부에는 브레이크등이 설치되어 있어 운전자가 브레이크페달에 답력을 가하였을 때 상기 브레이크등이 점등되도록 이루어져 있다.
이와 같은 비상등과 브레이크 등의 점등회로에 대한 일레가 예시도면 제1도에 도시되어 있다.
이러한 구동회로에 있어서는 자동차 배터리(10)에 브레이크스위치(12)를 매개로 브레이크등(14)이 연결되어 있고, 또한 상기 자동차 배터리(10)에는 비상등스위치(16)와 타이머(18)를 차례로 매개하여 비상등스위치(20)가 연결되어 있다.
따라서 브레이크등(14)을 구성하고 있는 각 브레이크등(141)(142)들은 운전자가 브레이크페달을 밟아 브레이크스위치(12)가 온상태로 접속되었을때만 점등되도록 이루어져 있고, 이와 마찬가지로 비상등(20)을 구성하고 있는 비상등(201∼204)들도 운전자가 손으로 조작하게 되는 비상등스위치(16)가 온상태로 접속되었을 때 타이머(18)가 작동되어 타이머(18)가 일정 주기를 가지고 온/오프됨에 따라 점멸되도록 이루어져 있다.
그런데 이러한 종래의 비상등 구동장치는 운전자가 조향핸들의 전방에 설치되는 주향축 상부커버나, 대쉬보드상에 설치되어 있는 비상등스위치(16)를 조작함으로써 자동차 배터리(10)의 전원이 비상등부(20)에 인가되어 비상등(201∼204)이 점등되도록 구성되어 있으며, 비상등(201∼204)은 방향지시등과 동일한 것으로서, 차량의 전후 좌우 4곳에 설치되는 방향지시등을 일정 주기로 점멸시킴으로써 비상등의 점등을 나타내고 있고, 좌측이나 우측 방향지시등 만이 점멸되고 있을때에는 차선변경을 포함한 방향변경을 나타내는 것으로 되어있다.
따라서 운전자가 비상등을 점등시킨 상태로 주행하다가 차선이나 방향변경을 위해 방향지시등을 작동시켜도 이미 비상등의 작동에 따라 좌우측의 방향지시등이 모두 점멸되고 있는 상태이므로 방향지시를 할 수 업세 되며, 굳이 방향지시등으로서 작동시키기 위해서는 비상등의 작동을 중지시키고 방향지시 등을 작동시켜야 소기의 목적을 달성할 수 있었다.
그러나 이는 방향지시등의 작동을 위해 비상등의 작동이 중지된다는 문제점을 가지고 있었다.
본 고안은 상기한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 안출한 것으로, 방향지시등은 방향지시만을 위해서 사용되도록 하여 비상등 작동시 방향지시기능의 상실을 방지하기 위하여 안개등과 브레이크등 또는 안개등이 설치되어 있지 않은 차량에 대해서는 브레이크등이라도 비상등으로 작동시키도록 된 자동차의 안개등 및 브레이크등을 이용한 비상등 구동장치를 제공하고자 함에 고안의 목적이 있다.

상기한 목적을 실현하기 위한 본 고안은 안개등과 브레이크등 점등기능이 구비되어 있는 차량에 있어, 안개등 점등스위치가 작동되면 안개등만이 점등되도록 하는 한편, 자동차 배터리측에 플래셔유니트를 매개로 2단 연동스위치를 연결하고 상기 2단 연동스위치의 서로 다른 스위칭단자에는 안개등과 브레이크 등을 연결함으로써 2단 연동스위치가 작동될 때에는 플래셔유니트가 작동됨과 더불어 자동차 배터리의 전원이 안개등과 브레이크 등에 각각 인가되어 안개등과 브레이크등이 비상등으로 작동되도록 이루어진 것이다.
이하 본 고안의 바람직한 일실시예에 따른 구성 및 작용효과에 대하여 예시도면에 의거하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 고안은 자동차 배터리(30)의 전원공급단에 안개등스위치(32)를 매개로 안개등(34,36)이 연결된는 한편 플래셔유니트(38)를 매개로 2단 연동스위치(40)가 연결되고, 상기 2단 연동스위치(40)의 스위치(40a)에는 안개등(34,36)이 연결됨과 더불어 스위치(40b)에는 브레이크등(42,44)이 연결되며, 자동차 배터리(30)와 브레이크등(42,44)사이에는 브레이크페달에 의해 작동되는 브레이크스위치(46)가 연결된 구조로 되어 있다.
제2도는 본 고안에 따른 자동차의 안개등 및 브레이크등을 이용한 비상등 구동장치를 도시한 것이다.
통상 안개등(34,36)은 보조 전조등의 일종으로서, 가시광선 중에서 비교적 파장이 길며 안개 가운데서 투과성이 양호한 담황색의 램프를 헤드라이트의 보조등으로서 차량의 앞쪽에 설치하여 사용하는 것인데, 윗방향의 빛을 차단하고 수평방향 전방 20 내지 40m를 넓은 범위로 조명하도록 설치되어 있는 것이고, 브레이크등(42,44)은 브레이크를 밟음과 동시에 점등하는 적색의 라이트로서 차량의 후부에 설치되어 후방에서 진행해 오는 차량에 주의 표시로 점등되도록 설치되는 것이다.
본 고안은 이러한 안개등(34,36)과 브레이크등(42,44)을 비상 등의 대용으로 활용함으로써 방향지시등은 방향지시등 본연의 목적에 사용할 수 있도록 하고자 하는 것이다.
플래셔유니트(38)는 주기적인 점멸신호를 송출하는 장치이고, 2단 연동스위치(40)는 온상태로 접속되었을 때 자동차 배터리(30)의 전원이 플래셔유니트(38)에 공급되도록 하는 회로망을 형성하고 또한 그에 따른 점멸신호가 안개등(34,36)과 브레이크등(42,44)에 공급되도록 하는 작용에 하는 것이다.
2단 연동스위치(40)는 플래셔유니트(38)에서 출력되는 점멸신호를 안개등(34,36)과 브레이크등(42,44)에 공급될 수 있도록 하기 위하여 스위치(40a)와 스위치(40b)가 결합되어 2단으로 구성된 것이고, 각 스위치(40a)(40b)는 한 번의 작동으로 서로 연동하여 동시에 온/오프될 수 있도록 구성된 것이다.
한편 안개등(34,36)과 브레이크등(42,44)은 본 고안에 따른 비상등으로 작동할 수 있음과 더불어 본연의 기능인 안개등(34,36)과 브레이크등(42,44)으로서 사용할 수 있도록 플래셔유니트(38)와 2단 연동스위치(40)과 이루는 회로구성과 병렬로 안개등작동스위치(32)와 브레이크등작동스위치(46)가 각각 연결되어 있는 것이다.
따라서 안개등작동스위치(32)나 브레이크등작동스위치(46)가 온상태로 접속되어 안개등(34,36)이나 브레이크등(42,44)이 점등중에 있는 경우에는 2단 연동스위치(40)를 작동시켜 플래셔유니트(38)의 점멸신호를 해당 램프레 인가시켜도 본연의 기능대로 점등되어지며 다른 램프는 비상등으로 작동되어진다.
다시 말해서 방향지시 등의 작동을 통해 해당 방향으로의 방향전환을 전후방 차량에 알리면서 기타 필요한 경우 2단 연동스위치(40)를 작동시켜 안개등(34,36)등 브레이크등(42,44)을 점멸시켜 비상등으로 표시하게 되면, 방향전환표시기능과 비상등기능을 동시에 표시할 수 있는 것이다.
방향전환중 일시적으로 브레이크를 사용한다고 하더라도 이는 잠시동안만 브레이크등(42,44)이 점등상태로 변경되어 브레이크등으로서의 기능을 수행하게 되지만 브레이크의 작동해제와 함께 브레이크등(34,36)도 곧 비상등으로서의 역할을 수행하게 된다. 이는 비상등의 작동이 주행중에 필요하고 또한 주행중에는 브레이크등을 일시적으로 사용하기 때문에 위와 같은 기능을 수행할 수 있게 되는 것이다.
상기한 바와 같이 본 고안은 안개등과 브레이크등을 비상등으로 활용할 수 있도록 함으로써 비상등의 작동시 방향지시 등의기능이 상실되던 종래의 문제점이 해결되어 명확한 신호전달을 통해 안전운전을 유도할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
