Abstract

본 고안은 자동차에 관한 것으로서, 특히 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조에 관한 것이다.
본 고안의 목적은, 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조를 이용하여 자동차의 배기계에 미치는 비틀림 방향의 진동을 절연하기 위한 것이다.
전술한 목적을 달성하기 위해서, 본 고안은, 자동차의 배기장치에 사용되는 배기파이프(8)의 단부 외주에 베어링(9)을 사이에 둔 상태에서 배기계 벨로우즈(10)의 단부를 겹쳐서 장착하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조를 제공해준다.

Description

자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조
본 고안은 자동차에 관한 것으로서, 특히 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조에 관한 것이다.
자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈는 자동차의 배기계에 장착되어 엔진등에서 발생되어 전달되는 진동을 절연해주는 장치이다. 도 1 은 자동차의 배기계를 도시하는 사시도이다. 상기 도 1에서 볼 수 있듯이, 배기계 벨로우즈(1)는 배기매니폴드(2)·부머풀러(3)·머풀러(4) 및 버풀(5) 사이 사이에 설치된 배기파이프(6)중 어느 한곳에 장착된다.
종래에 사용되어 온 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조를 상세히 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 도 2 는 상기 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조를 도시하는 단면도이다. 참조번호 6은 배기파이프를 지시한다. 상기 배기파이프(6)의 단부 외주에는 배기계 벨로우즈(1)가 용접(용접부(2-1))되어 장착되어 있다. 그리고, 상기 배기계 벨로우즈(1)가 용접된 부위의 외측에는 캡(7)이 씌워진다.
작용을 보면 다음과 같다. 엔진등에서 발생되는 진동이 상기 배기계 벨로우즈(1)에 미치는 경우 길이방향의 직선진동은 상기 배기계 벨로우즈(1)가 길이방향으로 펼쳐졌다가 접혀졌다가 하면서 흡수한다.
전술한 종래에 사용되어 온 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조에 따르면, 그 구조상 길이방향의 직선진동은 벨로우즈가 펼쳐졌다가 접혀졌다가 하면서 절연되는 것이 가능한 반면에 비틀림 방향의 진동은 상기 배기파이프(6)에 배기계 벨로우즈(1)가 고정적으로 용접되어 있으므로 절연되지 못하는 문제점이 있었다.
본 고안은 전술한 종래의 문제점을 해걸하기 위해서 제안된 것으로서, 본 고안의 목적은, 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조를 이용하여 자동차의 배기계에 미치는 비틀림 방향의 진동을 절연하기 위한 것이다.

전술한 목적을 달성하기 위해서, 본 고안은 자동차의 배기장치에 사용되는 배기파이프의 단부 외주에 베어링을 사이에 둔 상태에서 배기계 벨로우즈의 단부를 겹쳐서 장착하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조를 제공한다.
전술한 본 고안에 따른 바람직한 일실시예를 첨부도면을 참조하여 설명하면 다음과 같다. 도 3 은 본 고안에 따른 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조에 대한 바람직한 일실시예를 도시하는 단면도이다.
참조번호 8은 배기파이프를 지시한다. 상기 배기파이프(8)의 단부 외주에는 베어링(9)을 사이에 둔 상태에서 배기계 벨로우즈(10)의 단부를 겹쳐서 장착한다. 그리고, 상기 배기계 벨로우즈(10)가 겹쳐져 장착된 부위의 외측에는 캡(11)을 씌워준다.
작용을 보면 다음과 같다. 엔진등에서 발생되는 진동이 상기 배기계 벨로우즈(10)에 미치는 경우 길이방향의 직선진동은 상기 배기계 벨로우즈(10)가 길이방향으로 펼쳐졌다가 닫쳐졌다가 하면서 흡수하는 한편 비틀림 방향의 진동은 상기 베어링(9)을 중심으로 좌우의 각 부위가 자유롭게 회전하도록 하면서 흡수한다.
본 고안은, 자동차의 배기계 벨로우즈 장착구조를 이용하여 자동차의 배기계에 미치는 비틀림 방향의 진동을 절연하기 위한 효과를 나타낸다.
