Abstract
본 고안은 푹신한 쿠션으로 된 받침대로서 어깨와 머리부분을 받쳐줌으로서 물구나무서기를 쉽고 편안하게 할 수 있도록 해주는 물구나무서기 기구에 관한 것이다.
물구나무서기의 효과는 지금까지 과학적이고 체계적으로 연구된 보고서가 없으나, 일반적으로 혈액순환 촉진, 위장장애 개선 등에 효과가 있는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 실제로 의사들이 위장병 환자들에게 물구나무서기를 권장하고 있다.
또 균형감각을 기르고 균형있는 몸매형성을 목표로 하여 초, 중, 고, 대학의 체육과목 교육과정에 물구나무서기 단원이 들어 있다.
그런데, 지금까지 물구나무서기를 하려면 누군가가 보조를 해 주어야 했고, 또 팔이나 머리만으로 거꾸로 선 몸을 지탱해야 했기 때문에 힘이 많이 들어서 힘이 약한 여성들이나 아이들의 경우 물구나무서기를 매우 어려워하며 물구나무서기에 대한 공포심까지 가지고 있는 실정이다.
그러나, 본 어깨보조식 물구나무서기 기구는 물구나무서기를 하기에 가장 알맞은 높이의 의자모양에다 어깨받침 쿠션, 머리받침 쿠션, 보조손잡이 등을 설치하여 물구나무서기시 팔이나 머리에 집중적으로 쏟아지는 힘을 효과적으로 분산시킴으로서 장시간 물구나무서기를 하여도 별로 힘이 들지 않도록 고안되었다.
그리고 시중의 기계의 힘을 사용하는 물구나무서기 기구에 비하여 에너지 절약과 구조의 간편함에서 앞서며 거꾸로 매달리기식 물구나무서기 기구에 비하여 물구나무서기 고유의 특성을 효과적으로 살리고 있으며 훨씬 안전한 모양으로 고안되었다.

본 고안은 푹신한 쿠션으로 된 받침대로 어깨와 머리를 받쳐줌으로써 물구나무서기를 보다 쉽게, 보다 적은 힘으로, 보다 오랫동안 할 수 있도록 한 물구나무서기기구에 관한 것이다.
물구나무서기는 일반적으로 위장장애 치료, 혈액순환 촉진, 균형있는 몸매형성 등에 효과가 있는 것으로 알려져 있으나;
힘이 많이 들고 옆이나 뒤로 넘어지기 쉬워서 근력이나 운동신경이 발달하지 못한 여성과 어린이 노약자들은 제대로 할 수 없으며, 또 근력과 운동신경이 뛰어난 사람들도 매우 힘이 많이 들기 때문에 물구나무서기를 한 상태로 오래 버티기가 어려웠다.
본 고안은 상기와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 물구나무서기를 할 때 몸을 구부리고 발과 다리의 반발력을 이용하여 거꾸로서는 반회전운동을 하기에 가장 용이한 의자모양에다 물구나무서기용 손잡이(1), 어깨받침 쿠션(2), 나사식 회전으로 높이 조절이 가능한 머리받침 쿠션(3), 보조지지작용 손잡이(5), 엉덩이부분 받침대(6), 옆으로 미끄러짐 방지 받침대(7) 등을 설치하여 물구나무서기를 쉽게, 원하는 시간동안 비교적 편안히 할 수 있도록 고안한 것인데, 사용방법을 첨부도면에 의하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
먼저, 물구나무서기용 손잡이(1)를 양손으로 잡고 어깨받침 쿠션(2)에다 어깨를 밀착한 다음, 머리받침 쿠션(3)에다 머리를 대고 상체를 구부린 상태에서 발과 다리의 반발력을 이용하여 거꾸로 설 때 엉덩이 받침대(6)와 옆으로 미끄러짐 방지 받침대(7)가 허리와 엉덩이 부분을 받쳐 주어 쉽고 안전하게 물구나무서기를 할 수 있다.
또 장시간 물구나무서기를 원하는 경우, 어깨와 머리부분에 힘이 많이 들게 되는데 이때는 보조지지작용 손잡이(5)를 이용하여 머리와 어깨부분에 집중되는 힘을 분산시킬 수 있으며 보조지지작용 손잡이는 어깨와 머리받침 쿠션을 사용하지 않고 순전히 팔힘만으로 물구나무서기를 하여 팔힘을 기르고자 할 때도 사용할 수 있다.
본 고안은 시중에 있는 다른 물구나무서기 기구에 비하여 구조가 간단하여 실내외 어느 곳에서나 간편하게 사용할 수 있으며, 안정감이 있는 모양으로 되어 있어 남녀노소 누구나 두려움없이 사용할 수 있으며, 장시간 동안 편안하게 물구나무서기를 할 수 있게 하여 혈액이 머리부분에 집중되게 함으로서 두피와 두뇌조직에 많은 영양분과 산소가 공급되게 하여 탈모방지, 두뇌조직 발달, 비만해소, 스트레스 해소, 균형있는 몸매형성 등의 효과가 예상된다.
상기와 같이 본 고안은 간단한 구조와 사용의 편리함으로 인해, 물구나무서기의 생활화를 가능하게 하여 국민의 신체발달 및 건강증진에 기여하는 효과가 있다.

- 물구나무서기용 손잡이(1)을 양손으로 잡고 어깨받침 쿠션(2)에 어깨를 밀착한 다음, 머리받침 쿠션(3)에 머리를 대고 상체를 구부린 상태에서 발과 다리의 반발력을 이용하여 거꾸로 설 때 엉덩이 받침대(6)가 엉덩이 부분을 받쳐 주고, 옆으로 미끄러짐 방지 받침대(7)가 옆으로 넘어지지 않도록 받쳐 주는 물구나무서기 기구.
